The Pera Palace is a beautiful hotel. Its history is unmatched and its location is in walking distance to many sites and public transportation. The staff are friendly, accommodating and professional. If I were to return to Istanbul, I would definitely stay at the Pera Palace again!

Fantastic hotel in the coolest, most vibrant neighborhood, convenient to explore other areas of Istanbul. The hotel is a classic, old style palace, beautifully decorated and ornate without being gaudy. Our room was very nice with a balcony, comfortable bed and great bathroom products. The staff is fantastic!!!! All very friendly, with excellent recommendations and 1st class hotel concierge service. Highly recommended ! The hotel is situated in a central position of the tourist attractions. Easy to access most historical sites with taxi or trams. The hotel itself contains historical pieces and museum about historical figures that stayed at the hotel such as Atatürk, Shah of Iran, famous musicians and film writers. The hotel itself was very spacious, modern, and clean with extremely kind staff.

Grand faded opulence from a different era
Great staff, super helpful and kind. This is a historic hotel with amazing history. I would have loved to see the museum room which was closed for refurbishment. Rooms were comfortable enough if a little cozy! But all in all we enjoyed the fantastic entrance hall, beautiful lounge and bar area.
