We really enjoyed our stay in this well-constructed (adobe, thick walls! wood floors and beams), well-designed (great layout of bedrooms, baths and common areas), and decorated 'homestead'. We had a great rendezvous (after no COVID visits!) with my Toronto cousins and the house contributed significantly to that. It was so comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, and interesting decorations, including stained glass window hangings and old photos of local waterfalls. And, it was so quiet! I did a run on the road by the house on Sunday morning, for 45 minutes, and not one car passed me by! The sunlight and the views were outstanding and relaxing. It was only a short drive to Buttermilk Falls and other gorge experiences - which we enjoyed. The guide that was provided was very helpful, too. We hope to do this again in the spring, and we will definitely plan to stay here.
Thanks to the host family for their hospitality and the opportunity to stay in this amazing house.
