I was amazed At learning about the history of this hotel. There are so many antiques in this hotel. It's not modern or new, but it has a graceful elegance about this hotel. There's a wrap around porch you can sit and observe nature.

Winter ski getaway

I spent two nights at the Eagle Mountain House in January 2025. This is one of my favorite hotels in the White Mountains and it's location in Jackson, New Hampshire is ideal for my winter activities. My room was very comfortable. The hotel is not modern and fancy but provides a great cozy feeling when you are a guest. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Only negative during my trip was the remodeling of the dining area, which is probably complete by the time you read this. Dinner and breakfast was available in another building on the property and the quality was great as usual.
