The only thing I would complain about is that I am an older Blue Collar man. I'm sure the average person would not have this trouble, but, I did not know how to get into the "CHAT" through my email confirmation. I was expecting a regular email to be sent to me as I was informed " Day Of" with the lock Box code# I had not gotten the WiFi password yet so I had to go back down to the casino and call my wife to help me retrieve the Code# from the reservation format. She had to create an account and get the code. Anyway , it worked out, I was happy with the set up. I just used the place to sleep and went fishing in the day time. The location was awesome and very quite.
Excellent little half house getaway!!! Thank you so much for early check in the first day. Everything was just right. I grew up just up 88 further so it was nice to come âhomeâ and get a property that felt like it. Appreciate it Mickey! Would definitely refer and come back
The best part of this property is that it is very close to Volcano & Pine Grove. If you want to spend time in Jackson or Plymouth there are other options for a "couple." It is in a very wooden resident development and has a great view. Homes are near but not too close. It is a 1 bedroom with only a queen bed. Futons in the large living room make the location ideal for a bigger group. The one bathroom has a tub (with shower head). The kitchen is well stocked with a large stove but only a small hotel type refrigerator/freezer. There is a small grocery store in Pine Grove. Check-in with the lockbox concept was ideal. Plenty of parking.
Veiw out front windows was impressive and relaxing. Space was cozy but not cramp. Notes left around the space made me smile and turned out to be very helpful in understanding how certain things worked. Clean, white, fluffy towels in the bathroom. While the refrigerator was small is suprisingly met all our needs. Freezer portion held and kept frozen a full 7 lbs bag of ice that we needed the next day for our cooler. Would stay here again.
My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. We liked the privacy and having the feeling of camping. It was also in driving distance to town or the casino. We will certainly try and come back for another fun getaway.
The place was as advertised. The kitchen was obviously a new addition. It met our needs. However, there are not a lot of pots, pans and other cooking utensils. If you are cooking for more that 2 people or preparing a meal that requires a lot of pots or pans or special utensils to prepare the dish you might want to bring what you need as there is only the bare minimum. Great location for hiking and visiting wineries. We would return.
Our stay was essentially what we expected - a relaxing and quiet location with very nice views. It felt almost "off the grid" but close to the areas we wanted to re-explore. And a good value to boot!
Had a great stay in this property. The lower portion of a house with view of the pines; had kitchen, bath, separate bedroom and large living area as well as separate entrance. Our black lab was welcome with a very minimal pet fee. We were close to Lake Tabeaud where we hiked and our dog swam. Very fun! We were also in close proximity to Volcano and Black Chasm Cavern. The cave tour was very interesting. It was a relaxing trip where we started the mornings with our favorite type of coffee, mine being Keurig and his being drip. It was neat that the kitchen had both options! The house was away from traffic in a quiet neighborhood. Scenic drives all around, although you may want to either plan ahead for those or bring a map, cell phone service is spotty when out and about.
This was a wonderful getaway for the weekend! It felt remote while we were there but it was easy to get to and close to Pine Glen and other places. There was plenty of space in the unit, with a bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen, and TV with satellite cable. It was very clean and comfortable inside and there was a nice patio area right outside. And it was great to be able to bring our dogs for a reasonable fee. It was connected to the main house but it felt very private with its own entrance. We would love to stay again!
Mickey was extremely hospitable and gave quick informative responses in communication. The place has everything you need and is perfectly situated an hour from kirkwood ski resort, highly recommend.
Cute house tucked in a neighborhood just 10 minutes to town and 20 to the next two winery towns. Spacious living area and outside (not fenced but no real issues for behaved pets). We didnât read clearly on the small kitchen but that was our fault. Still able to make due with just microwave and small fridge but donât plan on full kitchen. Otherwise great spot! Host was very communicative and flexible with our needs.
My short stay at this home was enjoyable and comfortable. The front room with the TV is very spacious with large windows that have a great view of the mountains.
