Great hotel. Don’t understand negative reviews. The hotel was clean and in the process of being renovated. Breakfast area is lovely. The best is we had a dog and the walk around the lake in the front of hotel was perfect. Clean and my dog and l loved it. The room was large, clean and nicely decorated. My advice to customers would be book this hotel and ignore negative reviews.

We got to the room and were only in the room 5 minutes before realizing there were roaches in the room. We gathered our things and left immediately. The front desk said they would uncheck us and have the manager call us on Monday.

There was no water from 6am-9am. Bugs in the bathroom and on nightstand. TV wouldn't stay on unless light by the door was on. TV screen when on had a line across the top of the picture. The toilet seat was peeling. The elevator door and frame were rusted. The whole hotel needed to be painted.

Don’t even bother with this hotel.

Unfortunately, the hotel was under renovation, so a little dust and mess was expected. There were bugs inside the drawers and in the bathroom. Along with mold, rust, grime filled tub, missing lock for hotel room door on the inside, no room number on the outside of the door, and musty smell throughout the hotel and room. Definitely not worth it. We needed a hotel room in a pinch as our VRBO canceled due to a Water main leak.

The second floor of this hotel is apparently undergoing renovations. The interior of the elevator is not in good shape, either, with a rusty floor that is definitely in need of some attention. Outside of the elevator, there's wall paper all over and plastic on the carpet. And the hallway has a horrid smell that is, I there is from the "Velcro" carpet that is hanging off the walls there. The room is not much better either, with dirty carpet, a phone that hasn't been cleaned, refrigerator doors that were sticky and had to be disinfected, and a mattress with a big dip in it. The lamp could also be better. At least the staff is nice.

Nice hotel at a lower cost

While the La Quinta was a little rough around the edges because they were renovating the hotel was clean the beds were good everything was fine and the cost was significantly less than others in the area I'd recommend this hotel.

Property under renovation; walked into room and bugs scattered when light turned on; continental breakfast was limited and gross; other guests looked like meth addicts. Walls paper thin heard everything from family next door that sounded like they put all the kids in a room and the adults were elsewhere. Price was cheap but line the saying goes, “you get what you pay for.” The hotel shouldn’t be in service until the renovations are complete. Stripping along walls were pulled up smelled awful

Stay Somewhere Else

This hotel is in an area where there are other hotels within walking distance. Go to those. This hotel is “under construction” but I feel like this is just their excuse to not maintain the cleanliness of the hotel. We had one room that was just uninhabitable and absolutely disgusting! There was exposed floor board, huge globs of candy or gum stuck on the floor and the blankets had stains on them. The receptionist switched our room quickly. The room we ended up staying in was only slightly better. I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping under the blankets or on the pillows. The shower water pressure and temp was amazing! Our toilet and sink were stopping up. The toilet was also loose and was sliding. The maintenance man came to fix them both in the morning and there was a noticeable difference. Overall, wouldn’t recommend AT ALL!
