Most horrible check in experience ever worldwide
Didn't get a room. The reception was completely messed up, couldn't find keys, was issuing temporary emergency keys,. Sibafter waiting through the backlog of people awaiting check in and finnaly getting to me, she gave me a paper to sign with several conditions and extra hidden charges to initial and sign that i read and signed. I then asked about all the hidden charges were not advertised where then she accused me of having an attitude because i asked about them. She then proceeded to deny me entry and refuse a copy of paper. She already had my credit card fo "incidentals" which i objected to leaving on their computer. They said they would credit me for booking and incidentals charge but then reneged saying i needed to take it up with expedia though i booked through hotels.com.
I've yet to have chance to follow up here and with my credit card provider to see what they charged me! There was a bussed group of foreign speaking "employees" that were clocking in at same time i was being thrown out and threatened with police action which i promptly said to go ahead and call them since all i did was ask a couple of questions about surprise charges. They accused me of being rude because i asked questions and escallated incident, denying me a room or other recourse for me to leave. They did finnaly give me a copy of paper i signed but refused any other documentation so i assume they will keep my money! Hopefully i can get restored by hotel app. We shal see!
