Noisy Staff

Because we had a small dog, we were put on the first floor. The acoustics in the building are such that we could hear everything in our room that was said at the front desk. The staff was very loud at 11 o’clock 1 AM 3 AM and 6 AM. Very difficult to sleep there. Complained and they refunded half the price of the room.

The front desk staff was not friendly on both shifts. When we checked in the clerk had no knowledge of the concert venue. The next attendant was not knowledgeable about places to eat. The thermostat would not adjust lower than 68 degrees. The toilet kept cycling thru through the night. The shower did not drain causing you to stand in ankle deep water. The baseboards were unkept, damaged and dirty. The walls were so thin that you could hear the conversations in the next room and tv. The hotel is right off of the interstate. You could hear traffic. This was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. We spoke with the attendant upon checkout. The only thing she said was, “ I will let maintenance know”.

Great stay! The hotel was conveniently close to downtown Jacksonville, with plenty of excellent restaurant options nearby. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a smooth stay. Would definitely recommend!
