We stayed here with two families and four kids (ages 5 to 10) and had an absolutely great time. The apartment is exactly as shown in the listing — very clean, well-furnished, and comfortable for a group. The pool table was a big hit, and we made full use of the well-stocked kitchen for meals and snacks. The location was ideal for visiting New York City. While there's a nearby NJ Transit station within walking distance, we usually took a 10-12 Uber to Journal Square, which made getting into the city fast and easy. It was also about 10 to Liberty State Park, where we caught the ferry to the Statue of Liberty. The hostess was exceptional — always available and incredibly responsive. We checked in late and had a few questions, which she answered instantly, even after 10 PM. We also had to make a few adjustments to our schedule, and she was gracious and accommodating throughout. One thing to be aware of: the immediate surroundings of the apartment aren't particularly scenic. You might notice things like beer bottles or litter along the sidewalks. That said, we never felt unsafe, and it didn’t affect our stay at all. You won’t likely find tranquil surroundings this close to the city, so we saw it as a fair trade-off for the convenience.Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely book this place again for future trips to NYC. Highly recommended for families or groups looking for space, comfort, and easy city access.
