The whole place needs major refurbishing. The fire hoses and extinguishers were missing. Wall plates in halls broken and holes in walls. Stairs taped. In wall heater/ac filthy filter. Bathroom counter/faucet dirty. TV remote was dirty. And the breakfast???? Had sausage patties and eggs. No bread, pastries cereal.

I book my stays based on breakfast being included so we don't have to hunt for a restaurant and being able to get a first floor room as I am disabled. breakfast was semi-dry scrambled eggs and spicy sausage. At least the coffee was very good.
I reserved the room for my son who was working out of town. I sent him all the information and he was going to pay at check in.
Check in time is 3pm but when he got there at 5pm, they told him the room wouldn't be ready for another hour. He went to eat and did a few other things and arrived back at the hotel at 6:45pm only to be told that it was still not ready. He ended up leaving and going to another hotel. And when I called to complain, the person who answered was extremely rude and dismissive.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Very busy area with several lodging options. This one has been used by many folks, could use some updating.
I would never stay here again. By far the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. Got in late on a road trip or would have found another place. Kids would have rather slept in the car. Smelt of animals and smoke in a smoke free room. The sofa should be burned, I wouldn't even sit on it. Was full of hair and smelt horrible. Had to squeeze 4 people in a king size bed. Pool and Hot tub was drained.(Not that we were going to use as we got in late.) Breakfast was very poor. Biscuits/Gravy, green bananas, red apples and water bottles. No juice, milk, yogurt etc.
It was an affordable place to stay, but nothing special. It's convenient to I-44 and close to Tesla Superchargers on S. Main Street, so charging up in the evening for a full charge in the morning is a good option.
The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. My furst room the heat was broke and only would blow cold air. I couldn't even turn it off. I had checked in late on my arrival date, so the next morning i informed them about the condition of the room. They quickly mived my room and upgraded me to a suite.
