Great little house on the lake
House was good for 2 people, sauna and large kitchen we're bonuses as well as the amazing view of the lake, moraine and mount Howard. Parking for 2 large trucks was very tight but works. Internet was very slow and not great but I think that's all providers in the area. We had a Starlink which we used in order to join work meetings reliably.

Beautiful setting, great house
In a rare occurrence, the views were even better than they looked from the listing. Great deck. Spacious, cozy, comfortable home. Well-stocked kitchen, lots of towels. Lots of lights and lamps. Books! Throw blankets, bathrobes. Loved the jetted tub w lake view. Some minor drawbacks: bathroom fireplace had been out of order for almost two weeks but hadn’t been repaired yet, so there was no heat source for the large master bath. But we found a space heater. Carpets stained and could use a deep clean. Mouse poops in pots in cupboards. Some dirty dishes in D/W when we arrived and the D/W didn’t clean dishes very well. But overall, it’s a great vacation spot!

House needs some TLC
Although we had a good time and loved the view, the house needs some TLC. 2 of the 3 white patio chairs were broken. Appears to be mold in the small bathroom shower, specifically on the bottom of the shower door. The ceiling and chandelier could use a good dusting to remove the cobwebs. The big window overlooking the lake in the dining room was filthy and needs cleaned. Patio sliding screen door need to be adjusted and/or greased. They are difficult to maneuver. Dishwasher needs updating. It doesn't get dishes clean. I even tried removing the filter and cleaning it. The door doesn't shut properly and randomly opens. There is a loud gargling noise that comes from the pipes. We couldn't figure out how to turn on fireplace and also couldn't find any other heat source in the main living areas. The supplies left for a 6-person, 5-night stay were sparse. We had to buy laundry and dishwasher detergent. The kitchen sponge that was cut in half and left for us to use seemed extremely cheap. Also, need to updated description that there are many stairs. We didn't know about all the stairs and my elderly father had a difficult time.

Resolved a few issues for a great stay
Our first day was about resolving issues. One of the beds didn't work for anyone in our group of six, there were some worrying sounds, and a concern about whether we'd have hot water. However, the manager was quick to respond and we got all the information or workarounds we needed. The view was outstanding, and the home very comfortable. We brought our own seat pads for the indoor and outdoor chairs, but the home seemed well stocked with everything else (e.g., coffee grinder, extra blankets). We had a great time!

Beautiful location and home
We loved our short stay with our dog Yoshi. We will be back and plan to be here when more is open. The morning we were leaving they brought the dock over. We had no luck at fishing from the bank but the dock might help.

Great view
It is a great view and location. Lots of up and down stairs. Everything was comfortable. There is an issue with the sewer. Every time you flush or shower it gurgle and smells in the kitchen. The BBQ handle screws fell off when we BBQ but we were able to get the job done. It is so worth the view.

The directions emailed for getting into the house was horrible inadequate.
Overall it was great. It needs a new coffee pot and the dishwasher doesn’t dry. Need a much better explanation about where to find the lock box and how to get in. Thanks to Katie we were eventually able to get in.

Beautiful Place
The place is hard to find after dark. There were no lights on and a person needs to have more specific directions to which home it is. Hot water was an issue in the kitchen and the bathroom by the front door. We had to let the water run for a very long time to get hot water. Other than that we had a great time.

Fantastic home! Great location! So comfortable.
Everything was perfect about this property and location. Great weekend! However, we had an issue finding the right lock box for the key to gain access to the house. There are 3 lock boxes on the outside of this property. The one that contains the key to the house is by the front door but not visible if looking at house from the street. There is a lock box on the side of the garage, which is the one we worked on for about 20 minutes to gain access. I suggest to add to the directions (which were very helpful) that the lockbox to access the home is on the pole facing the front door.

Lake retreat
This property has amazing lake front views close to town. Although road is very steep and icy in winter it was well maintained and graveled for easy access. Very comfortable and cozy cabin. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone who can handle steps.

Beautiful Lake View
You see a beautiful view of the lake as soon as you open the front door. The views are stunning. We visited in the winter and it was really quiet and peaceful. Despite extremely cold weather, we stayed nice and warm in the house. All 6 of us were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Lakeside Property
We absolutely LOVED this house on the lake. It was absolutely beautiful. The house was spacious, well appointed and we were able to bring our dogs which is rare to find such a nice property that's pet friendly. We're already considering booking this house again soon!

Had everything we needed
This home was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed during our stay. Plenty of towels and linens, kitchen items, even entertainment items. A wonderful place to curl up with one of the many books present and watch the snow fall through the large windows or gaze at the peaceful lake. Only complaint is that the walls and floors are a bit gapped causing draftiness and privacy issues in some areas. Additionally, there are LOTS of steps and some aren’t a safe height and without handrails. Not ideal for anyone who might have trouble navigating stairs/steps. But overall very nice and peaceful.
