Perfect base for visiting Joshua Tree National Park. Spent two nights. The house is almost new. It is beautiful, perfectly clean and we loved the details. Absolutely nothing to complain.
We absolutely loved our 2 day stay. From waking up to the views of the desert and mountains, taking a brisk walk in the neighborhood, meditating on the patioâŠ..unique solid wood throughout, artistically decorated, new kitchen and appliancesâŠ.and the place feels loved and cared for. Perfecto!!
My girlfriend and I loved staying at Studio 19 for a short, 2 night weekday hiking, sightseeing getaway. It was beautiful, super comfortable, spotlessly clean, relaxing, and quiet! Itâs centrally located on a hill, overlooking the city. The view was fantastic. It was super close to the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. We would love to stay here again in the future.
The property was well designed and modern. We enjoyed the quiet and spent time listening to the birds in the morning. Closeness to National Park was convenient.
As mountain bikers, hikers and back country motorcyclists we found the location of this property to be perfect for our trip. The property is clean and light with plenty of room indoors and out. The unit has all of the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Itâs just up the hill from town. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. This is the perfect Joshua Tree locale.
Ideal location, well stocked kitchen, dreamy mattress amd pillows, outstanding 180 degree view for sunrises and star gazing, prompt communication with host, and everything we wanted in a rental property. We 100% would stary again.
The house was excellent, and the location was perfect for visiting Joshua Tree National Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and wouldn't change a thing!
Most pictures overstate the propertiesâŠ. With this property the pictures did not do justice. Everything was top notch!!! Communication was prompt, loved the place!!
Such a delightful place! Perfect for my husband and me and our dog. Quiet neighborhood, close to JTNP. Well outfitted and comfy. Even our dog chilled out there. Our host was super responsive and great to work with. Highly recommend
Wife and I spent 4 days at Jennâs Studio 19. What a beautiful place!! Itâs actually better than the pictures. Impeccably clean, Cozy, beautifully decorated, Amazing views, located close to everything you would want to do in the area. It was a wonderful experience. If I return to the area I will definitely stay here. And I will recommend it to all my friends. Highly recommend this as a must stay

Wonderful and convenient home base for Joshua Tree NP
We had a great stay at Studio 19, which served as our restful retreat between visits to Joshua Tree national park and stops in town for meals at both Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms.
Communication with the host was fantastic before, during, and after our stay. The location is super convenient for visits to the park, while being in a VERY quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Unobstructed views and clear skies to be taken in from the front patio seating was very much appreciated after a long day of hiking.
The weather was moderately cold at night (~35) and I was impressed at how effective the AC/Heater was at keeping the entire house at a very comfortable temperature. You can tell that Studio 19 is very well insulated against drafts.
As mentioned in the listing, the front patio is virtually all glass and without any curtains. Being a studio setup, that means you can see into the bedroom from outside. It didn't bother me, but something to note if you plan a visit. I thought it would be cool if there was at least an option for more privacy, but at the end of the day it didn't bother me and I knew this in advance.
Outside of this, the grounds are really kept in pristine condition. The kitchen is very well equipped with cookware/serveware. The whole vibe and music Studio theme is present while not being overdone. It's a great spot for a couple to hang out and relax in. No comment on the grill, since I didn't end up using it.
Definitely would stay again.
Great location convenient to great little cafes and an awesome coffee shop. Also, delicious Indian food at Samâs! Unique little soups and a cool art museum. We visited for a concert at Pappy and Harrietâs, which was just a quick drive into the mountains. Note of caution: keep a copy of the keyless entry code on you at all times. We got locked out and had to jump through some panicked hoops to get back in lol! Also, a wall of windows and glass doors doesnât have any curtains or other coverings, so just be aware if you require that level of privacy. Otherwise, great little spot! (Owners: grab a few lamps!)
This was a nice, clean, and modern place, which was well stocked with comforts. Would have been a 5-star except that there was much less privacy than imagined. Iâm definitely not a particularly privacy-oriented person, by most peopleâs standards, but even I had trouble fully relaxing for several reasons.
Here are a couple of key details that werenât at all clear from the listing:
1) with the lights on inside you could see the bedroom from the road very easily, and between the lack of bedroom wall and the lack of blinds, there was actually no way to be more private. This was kind of a romantic trip for us and the inability to be out of eyeshot of the road was a bit of a mood killer.
2) the bathroom for some reason has walls that leave several feet of space between the wall and the ceiling, and a door that leaves inches of space between the door and door frame. From a perspective of sound, smell, and privacy, the toilet might as well be in the kitchen. No idea why someone would make that design choice.
3) the outdoor shower advertised in the listing has no enclosure or privacy at allâjust a shower head on a wall. It is in easy direct view of neighbors. Itâs hard to even imagine the purpose of it - cleaning pets or outdoor gear or something? In any case, unless you typically take showers with a swimsuit on when there is no pool or hot tub, it is completely useless.
The place was clean and comfortable so Iâm giving it 3 stars but I certainly would not come back.
Gorgeous place to come back to after outdoor adventures in Joshua Tree. Kitchen was well-equiped and our only regret is that we didn't cook in every night!
