Great Place to Stay
The place was cute and had a spacious kitchen with everything we needed to make meals. There was a large garage that had fun games to play. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep. The fire pit was also a highlight. There also was a nice walking trail to take the dog on walks. It was secluded but also close enough to KC to easily take in a Chiefs game!

Great place to stay. It’s close to the city but it feels like your out in the country. It’s one of our favorite places to stay for the weekend.

Relaxing
Very relaxing, away from town but close enough to go eat and get supplies. Our granddaughter loved the game area when she would visit. The weather was rainy and it definitely made us want to sleep in and then lounge with a hot cup of coffee. There was a problem with the WiFi when we first arrived and Kristen got it resolved very quickly. We enjoyed our stay!

Exceptional weekend at Green Haven retreat. We were in town to visit our daughter who's attending college. It was a wonderful escape and made for some great family memories. We'll be back!! who'sWe'll be back.

Loved this place!! So spacious and private. Stayed 2 nights and will definitely stay again next time we do a multiple overnighter in KC. Didn't interact with the property managers because we didn't have to. Everything was provided and very accommodating and had everything we needed!!

Daughter’s Wedding
Douse was absolutely lovely and very clean and tidy. It was a great escape from the city. My daughters wedding venue was close by and this was so convenient for us to stay here and get ready and be there for the ceremony on time. I would definitely love to stay here again just to get away from the city and have a family weekend. The family absolutely adored the fire pit and spending time outside talking about the wedding the day after. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Pros: Newish barndominium on acreage. Big indoor space with games for the kids to play. Nice motif inside Quiet surroundings if you don’t mind crickets and cicadas :) Comfy beds and couch Cons: The lagoon and pond were covered with algae which was gross. Patio furniture was rather uncomfortable No coffee filters for the coffee maker Internet didn’t work half the time Other: Water had been shutoff due to non-payment but owner quickly resolved the issue

Baseball getaway
This is the perfect mix of quiet solitude but so close to everything. Easy to find with the directions. Beautiful outdoor area, the fire pit is solid! Well equipped and comfortable. Kristen is very responsive for any needs. I love everything about this place, we had the best time!

Beautiful area to visit and a nice place to stay for a few days. Only issue we had was with the internet not always working but we had a large family using it so it could’ve been overworked. Loved the fire pit and the scenery. Beds were comfy and the shower was great! We would love to come back in the fall when leaves are changing!

Beautiful, peaceful location
Perfect place for us, with our 6 kids to stay! Plenty of room to run and be kids, but still plenty nice enough for our teens to want to stay! Plenty of indoor play area where they could really get moving, beautiful fire pit and porch area. Really let the adults relax and worry less, but we also liked that it was still pretty close to town! Would definitely stay again! Beautiful all around!

A truly perfect getaway
This is truly a magnificent property. From the outside, it looks like a standard metal building, but the inside is a whole different world. The staircase is incredible, it’s held up by finished tree trunks and the steps are made of the same. The shiplap ceiling and potbelly stove in the living room were wonderful. We had an excellent time! With the host’s permission, we got married here. My only minor critique is that the instructions need updating. There was only one key instead of two and no cinder block on the trash can which varies from the instructions, but this was otherwise a great stay. My wife and I can’t wait to come back!

Family reunion
We're 2 branches of the family half from WI half from AZ. Picked KC because it's kinda halfway. The house was perfect for our needs. The weather didn't cooperate, but that's life. The location was ideal, but i don't think we could have done it without a GPS. We saw deer and rabbits on the property. I would definitely recommend staying here

Great Place to Stay
The property was as described. We were able to explore the land and have a few campfires. Our kids had a ton of fun. The barndo was gorgeous inside. The ticks are still bad, so bring protection. I drove into downtown Kansas City everyday for a conference and that took about 35 minutes. The property is also within about 30 minutes of some prime attractions like Legoland Discovery Center and Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun. It was so HOT during our visit, but the barndo stays cool with the A/C.

Family getaway
This property is beautiful. The home was clean and well stocked with anything you might need. The garage was great for letting everyone burn off energy. Make sure you bring tick spray and check for ticks every time you go outside. It's a wooded area so you gotta expect them but they are extra bad.

A cabin getaway
This property was absolutely amazing. My sisters and I took a girls trip and it was everything that we could imagine. From being able to curl up and watch a show, To the fire pit, allowing us to talk and laugh and share memories along with s'mores was absolutely phenomenal! We saw deer, rabbit and frogs that made us smile but it was the tire swing by the pond that set off a fit of laughter. We highly recommend this property. You definitely won't regret it. Only correcting to the listing would be the pull out sofa bed is up in the loft area, not in the living room 1 down below.
