Hotel and staff were amazing! The shuttle driver (I wish I could remember his name) was so sweet and very friendly! Pool and hot tub was clean and enjoyable! Breakfast was great and the Starbucks coffee was a plus! If we ever go back to KC, we will definitely stay at OrangeWood again!

Clean and renovated
The hotel is very well updated inside. Clean, very nice service. My only issues were the ground level room was very humid and "swampy", like I felt like we were breathing in a vaporizer like when you've got a bad cold. When we first went into the room it felt fresh and clean, but as the night wore on it did smell a bit musty, like the AC unit needed cleaning. I did call the desk at one point, around 10pm, to ask if we were positioned under a staircase as there was constant noise and banging above us, but was informed we were not. I didn't push the issue, but would have been nice to have them offer to either ask the folks above to quiet or ask if we wanted to move to a higher level. But other than those issues, it was a nice stay, decent bed, clean, and breakfast was fine. Very convenient and clean. Would stay again, just would ask for a higher level room not located next to the back entrance.

Very nice hotel. Room was clean and very quiet. Glass door on shower. Breakfast was really good with lots of options. Nice pool and hot tub. Fast elevator. Only complaint would be that it was humid in the room because it was very humid outside.

We were in Kansas City to tour a university in the area so we flew in for a couple days and flew out. We stayed here for the convenience of close to the airport and the reviews we read about this hotel were mainly great. The reviews were right, it’s clean, the people are friendly and the bed pillows were especially soft and puffy. I’m the kind of person that inspects the hotel room for bugs, stains, hair etc before I can relax and the room put me at ease. I would stay here again next time I fly in

Breakfast was closed by 9, so we missed that because we heard 10am. Room was clean. Pool and hot tub weren’t super clean but were clean enough. Nice place to lay your heads on a road trip.

property has been completely remodeled, nice condition. They completely forgot to replace the towels - roughest towels since staying at a motel 6. not sure if they are afraid people would want to steal the towels, but the room towels AND the pool towels are VERY VERY rough, other than that, great property, nice rooms, great pool and hot tub. definitely would stay again, but bringing in my own towels.

Check in is a nightmare because they have a discount parking lot there as well and you have to wait in the same line whether you are trying to park a car or get a room. Really poor planning. Stood in line for 43 minutes while staff fumbled there way through every single guest/parking customer. Nice property but definitely don't recommend.
