The Ridge
Excellent location. Beach an easy walk as well as trails . The condo was well appointed with all your needs. The only downside was that the safe was there, but no one had directions on how to use which made it inconvenient to carry your valuables with you. Hopefully that will be resolved for next renter. Also, wifi can be a bit sketchy at times. However, that maybe an island problem. Never used the pool or grill, however all looked absolutely wonderful.. I would highly recommend a stay there.

Location! Location! Kapalua!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. It's located in a development of small buildings, each three floors. This condo is on one level. We always felt we were in a private location, not in a big development with neighbors encroaching. The condo was well-maintained. The bedroom was large. So was the master bathroom. The lanai was great for watching sunsets. The condo was only about .25 mile from the beach--a 6-7 minute walk. Kapalua is a great location; it's not as crowded as other areas in Maui to the south. My only complaint is that the management company didn't fix a problem with the bedroom TV. Ultimately, I resolved it by changing the connection between the cable box and TV. Otherwise, we enjoyed our vacation. It was a wonderful place to stay in Maui.

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay in this very nice condo. The unit was true to photos provided on VRBO website. Furnishings very comfortable, bed excellent and the kitchen very well equipped for making breakfast, lunch or dinner. Close to beach, boardwalk by the sea and restaurants. I would highly recommend. Views, beach and a reliable sea breeze
We thoroughly enjoyed this property. Its views are to die for, Ironwoods Beach a 3 min walk and the sea breeze meant we never needed to use the a/c This area does have cloudier, wetter weather than areas to the south, but we very much enjoyed that climate as a home base. Property mgrs were responsive and unit, a bit dated, but in very good condition, clean and well stocked.

This is a great location. You can walk to Dragons Teeth Trail and some beaches. It is quieter and less busy than Black Rock Area. So if you prefer that, this is your place.

Perfect in every way
Beautiful, quiet location. Great view. Spacious, delightful condo. Comfortable in every way. Everything as advertised or better. Hosts made a high chair available for grandson visiting for occasional meals. Pack n play available as well. Stice Team were attentive hosts, answering our few questions quickly. Glad to have the opportunity to help the West Maui economy while having a great time.

Absolute Gem
Kapalua Ridge unit was splendid. It was the perfect place for our July vacation and provided everything our family needed. Located in Kapalua, just south of the Ritz, our unit overlooked the ocean. Not on the beach, but an easy walk of 5-7 minutes down to Oneloa Beach. The area was quiet and not at all crowded. Not active like Lahaina with its foot-traffic and restaurants. We wanted quiet and a departure from crowds and noise and were directed here by a friend. The complex had a pool for those who cared for moderate swimming -- and we took advantage of both. DT Fleming Park was 5 minutes away for excellent boogie boarding. Countless other opportunities to explore ocean activities were all within minutes. We've spent most of our island adventures in the Caribbean -- and the ocean we found here in Maui is more challenging -- but common sense provides for great adventures. There were some glorious and delicious restaurants close by (including Fond Maui). The check-in and check-out procedures were seamless. The constant tradewinds kept us comfortable. Unit had AC, but not necessary with the breezes. Anything needed to live in a home away from home was provided (plates, pots, utensils, stove, etc). Grocery stores are close enough to bring groceries, etc. as needed. We will most definitely be back. This place and the team who provided for us were all great.

Great vacation
We loved this place. It had great character with a blend of updated and retro, it was incredibly clean, fully stocked and then some with everything we could imagine, great location with a beautiful view of the ocean off the lanai. It is a 5 min walk to the beach or the walking paths along the cliffs, close to restaurants & grocery stores. Quick and friendly response time from the hosts and very comfortable. We will definitely rebook this spot when we return.

Beautiful Place but Caution about Travel Insurance
This was a beautiful place in a excellent location. I would issue a word of caution about travel insurance which I did not know previously. Apparently, we should have purchased travel insurance through the property management company Hawaii Life. Instead, we purchased the VRBO insurance and the airline canceled our flight the day we were supposed to leave. This forced us to lose one night of lodging for which we submitted a claim over a month ago and have never received any response from VRBO's insurance company Generali. There is no Phone number for them and I have emailed them and have still had no response. Do not trust VRBO insurance!!!

Best views and walkability
This place wows from the moment you walk in the door- the ocean view is amazing and listening to the waves crash day or night on the patio was something we loved! Well stocked with beach towels, chairs, toys as well as kitchen pantry items- they really took the time to think of everything and make the stay so easy. Short walk to the beach, hiking trails and restaurants was another thing we loved! Will definitely come back and stay again!!

Fantastic trip
My husband and I stayed in this beautiful condo. It was truly our home away from home for 3 weeks. Yes, it was hard to leave! Spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated. It has a beautiful view of the ocean and is located in a very quiet community. The pool and bbq area are very nice. Just up the walkway from the front door. The condo was very clean and had all the utensils, pots/pans, coffee maker, blender, etc. We appreciated the starter supply of paper items and nice soaps. The tommy chairs and beach towels were also a nice surprise. We purchased some pool items and noodles and donated them to your pool/beach supply closet. And its located near all of our favorite beaches. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We'd love to come back again some day.

Beautiful views
We loved staying at this property. The space was well decorated and the beds were super comfy. The view was incredible. The towels and sheets were all very high quality. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a spice rack full of spices as well. I saw a Ninja blender, although we did not use it. The AC kept the bedroom cool at night. The power went out on the island of Maui in the middle of the night for hours, and I texted the property manager who responded right away, in the middle of the night! We also used the pool, just across the street. Ralph, who works on the property and cleans the pool was so friendly, and gave us many tips on what to do. The pool was private, quiet, and clean. The property has many full time residents that are also very friendly, but also make sure to keep an eye out on things. We felt very safe. This is an upscale area of the island, and we always found ourselves coming back after exploring as we preferred the area. The beach is a short walk…10min down a hill, across the street, and down a long set of stairs. The locals do not like this beach as the waves are terrible for surfing. The BEST snorkeling site is very close to the house, and accessible by car, but we paid for a snorkel trip that dropped us in the water just north of the property. We brought our own snorkel gear as the property did not provide this equipment. They had 4 nice beach towels in a closet inside, and a nice cooler, a couple of tubes, bamboo mats, beach bags and beach chairs in a closet by the covered parking. One negative on location…..The road to Hana is very very far away. There is a lot of walking here, and you have to walk up stairs to access the property, get to the pool, or beach. My only complaint is that the carpet was dirty, and needed spot cleaning badly.

Ocean View Villa that Has It All
We stayed at this property at the end of July 2022. This was our third trip to Kapalua and our best experience yet. The villa had everything. I'll start with the view. The views from the lanai were amazing. The pictures in the listing, while nice, does not do the views justice. It was great waking up and walking out to the lanai to drink coffee or mimosas. There's also a lounger on the lanai as well to take an afternoon nap, as well as a water faucet to wash off your sandy coolers. The kitchen had everything you could possibly want. We were in Kapalua for six days and made two to three meals a day. There was a Lazy Susan in the kitchen that had every pot/pan you could want. There was also cooking/baking dishes tons of silverware, cups, plates and cooking utensils. (There was even spices, EVOO, and Pam spray to use... AMAZING! And much appreciated. The living room has a newer large TV where we watched shows at night. The furniture was comfy and the couch had a pull-out that could sleep two people. The bedroom had a super comfy King size bed and a nice sized Master bathroom. There was a second bathroom with a walk-in shower, closet and washer/dryer. Finally, the amenities we appreciated the most were the items you can take to the beach (insulated cooler, bags for carrying things to the beach, and four Tommy Bahama beach chairs, outstanding)! We even left behind a boogey board for future families. I can't tell you how much these amenities are appreciated. The less you have to rent, the better. Finally, communication with the property management group was excellent. They were friendly, helpful and answered our questions throughout our stay. Napili Beach, where you can rental stand-up paddle boards, et. al. was a 15 minute walk and the general store was about a 10 minute walk from our villa. Fleming Beach, great for snorkeling with the sea turtles, was a five minute drive from Kapalua. The kitchen and bathroom needs a little updating, but this villa was awesome!

The ocean view from the lanai is amazing from this property. The bed is super comfortable. We can not imagine a better location walking distance to three great beaches. The closest one is the quietest beach. This condo is nestled between the Ritz Carlton and the Montage and in a beautiful and quiet area. We loved every minute of our stay.

You never know what you're gonna get ... As always better than the pics and description of condo! Heavenly location...the view just takes your breath away every time you walk in thru the front door! Covered alot of the island and I would definitely stay in Kapula again upon return. We will recommend to our friends in low places and to those where money is no issue! Truly a gem!
