Fumes of lysol over whelmed

The place was over Lysol and still was dirty trash in the elevators wet floor signs everywhere when the floors weren't wet. Just to unaware to pick up the signs. I understand that it is a pet friendly hotel but I had a difficult time sleeping with the fumes of cleaning product. Our remote for the TV did not work. I had to go down to the front desk because our phone was not connected also, to request a new remote they gave us batteries however the batteries didn't make a difference in the remote. So we were without TV for the evening because there was no maintenance person available. Next morning I went and asked to make note on my reservation about the two issues. They ended up giving me a different remote that worked why could they not have done that the night before?

Good hotel for the price. Nothing fancy, but the bed is comfortable and the rooms are spacious. Free breakfast is pretty decent. Rooms were quiet too Only real complaint is the way the duvet cover is. They use 2 flat sheets to wrap it in. I doubt the main duvet is washed between each customer, and it slips out of the sheets while in bed. Kinda grossed me out. I asked the front desk for an additional flat sheet so I could wrap the end of the duvet while sleeping. I know some hotels do this, but it’s not very hygienic unless they are definitely washing them between customers

The room was nice when we walked in, couldn’t get the TV to work. People in the upstairs room must’ve been getting their steps in for the evening and then decided to move furniture at about 3:30 in the morning. Ran water for quite a while and only came out lukewarm and very, very limited water pressure
