The cabin was exactly what was advertised. The perfect size for two ladies looking to escape their respective chaos, within a few hours of Western Pennsylvania. It was great to be able to see the lake from our dining area window, and I enjoyed sitting at the table outside, with a lake view as well. I did think it was funny that there signs about conserving water, but then the shower is only big enough for one person (single stall, pretty tight--understandable for the space but the sign joked about pairing up for showers), and there is no dishwasher. Since our party had dietary restrictions, we cooked all meals during our stay (so lots of dishes to hand wash). Beyond no dishwasher, this was a really great spot for people on a budget, as long as you don't mind not having a place to sit directly by the lake's edge. Oh, and watch out for those bugs in the evening! Keeping lights off helped, as recommended. Very tidy, near some really cute local attractions, and serene overall! We enjoyed walking down the road to catch sunsets by the small pier. I would definitely consider going back! It would help to know when booking that multiple attachments need to be reviewed (3 or 4 documents sent, I think), as I didn't realize some of them had different information and had missed some details initially.
