Despite the once in 50 year storm we had a lovely relaxing time and the location is ideal. Our host was very attentive and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Everything you need is on site.

This was truly an old time Hawaiian experience. The home felt like a beach bungalow vacation of a bygone era. Beautiful grassy yard, private beach and sea turtles visited every evening after sunset. A touching experience to see such creatures in their natural environment. The home is quaint and comfortable. My husband and I were cozy 
 each of us having our own bathroom! Coffee in the mornings and wine in the evening on the patio listening to the birds, the surf, and the peace of nature was reenergizing for us. We stayed two weeks. Sadly the Kona Low storm struck while we were there, but nature is what it is! We played games, hunkered down and made the best of it. Brian and Mitzi were gracious hosts 
 they recognized my husband’s birthday with a thoughtful card, balloons and wine! SO very special. We loved our time here in paradise!

We had a wonderful stay at Brian’s place. The house was exactly as shown in the pictures—clean, comfortable, and well maintained. One of the best features is the location: the beach is less than 100 feet away and easily walkable. We were lucky enough to see turtles come up on the beach right in front of the house, which was an unforgettable experience.There is a beautiful large banyan tree on the property that attracts many birds, so you wake up each morning to birds chirping—it was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Grocery stores and great food trucks are just a 5–10 minute drive away, making everything very convenient.Brian was an excellent host—very responsive and attentive. When we had a minor maintenance issue, he sent a handyman promptly and it was taken care of right away. Overall, this was a fantastic stay and we would absolutely recommend this property to others and would love to return ourselves

Super Strandlage und idealer Ausgangspunkt um Maui zu erkunden. Das Schauspiel, wenn die Meeresschildkröten abends a den Strand kommen ist beeindruckend und einzigartig. Das Strandhaus vermittelt den Maui Charme und ist sehr gut mit allem ausgestattet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Take-out Diner gibt es ausreichend in kurzer Distanz.

Fantastic property. This property is better than described on VRBO. Very nice and comfortably inside but even better out back. Direct access to a usable beach in an extremely spacious backyard where you can look at the huge trees, birds, mongoose, beach and sunset. And of course, the parade of sea turtles that come out like clockwork about 10 minutes after sunset. Every night roughly 20 of them come out and visit within feet of where you sit on the beach.

This property was great! Being right on the beach with the turtles was amazing! We enjoyed days on the beach and sunsets on the patio. It felt pretty private, and the he beach wasn’t heavily trafficked. This unit was exactly what we hoped for!

Amazing!

This home was heaven! You had me at turtles but it was so much more. Lovely home, perfect location (near food and the heart of Kihei) the porch and yard were a sanctuary, clean and well appointed. Best rest I have had in years. Thank you for sharing this home.

Perfect Family Get-Away

Adorable cottage beach house that fit our family of six perfectly. The large outdoor grass area was fun for family games as provided by the owner. Great supplies for beach play including towels, toys, chairs and umbrellas. The views are spectacular, location and access and great, and the turtle welcome on our first morning was hesrtwarming. Couldbt have been a better experience and fun time for our four year old grandsons first Maui experience. We all gelt at home and welcome here..including chairs, umbrellas,

fantastic view

The view from this home is what it is all about...Huge Banyan tree, perfectly manicured yard, and a view of the ocean, across the large yard. Nice large lanai to sit and enjoy it all. The croquet set was a fun addition.... The home worked for the 5 of us. It may be better suited for 4 people, as you need to move furniture to drop the murphy bed in the living room each day. (not a complaint, just thought others might want to consider this) The location on the island is perfect. Very easy to get anywhere. We stayed our last 4 days in Kaanapali, and this is by far the most convenient part of the island. Brian was a great host and responded quickly to any concerns. We would recommend this home, and will return, if possible.

Summer vacation with older teens

We stayed for a week with two of our older sons. Everyone really enjoyed the house, and it was super convenient for groceries, shopping, getting to beaches and activities, etc. We also saw lots of wildlife, including turtles and seals.

Amazing home a Turtle experiences Daily

Contact with Brian was excellent. Air conditioning was nice. The home was spotless and even smelled freshly cleaned on arrival. The kitchen was well supplied with all we needed. The gas grill was a great amenity. I would recommend using ziploc bags for all your food you have opened. The home is decorated nicely. It's beautiful inside and out. We appreciate the outdoor seating areas and spent a lot of time on the lanai. The yard is meticulously cared for and the landscape is beautiful to include the large banyan tree. The adjoining property was rented to a large family, but we hardly ever saw them. A short walk through the yard led to gorgeous beach area. Occasionally people walk by but for the most part it was your own private beach. The sand is very soft. There is lots of coral coming in so if you plan to go in the water you will definitely want water shoes. We had high surf and wind warnings during our stay but we really thought snorkeling would be good had that not been the case. Let's talk sea turtles. From the reviews, they were mentioned as being on the beach. It was incredible there were over a dozen turtles that came in every night and sunset and left at sunrise. Such a cool experience. Lots of food options nearby. Must have Huli Huli chicken that is nearby. So GOOD! We had a lot of shave ice but our favorite was Ululani's Shave ice that was nearby. The lines are long but so good. So good, computers use the view as a background

Seriously, we got home and looked at my husbands computer 'stock background' and it was the view from this place. If you're looking for great view, great beach and a house exactly as described, you've found perfect. We loved the homey feel of the house, the layout was great for my elderly parents and us (middle age). Brian never got annoyed with my questions that he had already answered, was quick to respond and when my father broke 3 ribs 3 weeks before the trip he was willing to work with me on a solution. A great place (the house next door looked great too for bigger groups!).

Right on the beach!!

Wonderful location! Enough room for everyone. Loved seeing the turtles every morning on the beach and turn around and look at the Maui sunrise at the same time with the palms as a backdrop. So gorgeous. Was great to have some essentials we were allowed to use as well like a cooler, beach chairs, noodles, beach towels. Came in handy.

Stay on Maui!

We had a wonderful stay at the banyan house., the views were beautiful, house was spotless! Couldn’t have asked for a better spot! Spectacular sunsets, turtles on the beach every night. Thank you Brian and Mitzi!
