The condo is operated by a management company (which is indicated in the listing) who requires renters to agree to a lengthy contract with restrictions, impediments and requirements in addition to the standard VRBO terms prior to receiving door codes etc.
Although the condo was clean, it is dated and in a state of disrepair. The toilet runs constantly, the bathroom fan does not work, the internet and cable were not working and half of the outlets in the kitchen were inoperable. There is peeling wallpaper, mismatched paint, broken outlet covers, stained carpets in multiple locations and what appeared to be black mold on a few locations in the bathroom.
There are no skylights and no vaulted ceilings as indicated in the listing, however, the most disappointing thing about the condo was the bed. To call this a bed is charitable. This was not something fit for sleeping. It was more akin to a piece of plywood on a slab of stone with cheap synthetic bedding, and I enjoy a firm mattress.
The location is great as advertised. It's convenient and the mountain is a hidden gem in the area.
