We stayed for one night while exploring the Salt Fork area for the first time. The weather was not great but Brittany allowed us to check in early, so we ended up spending most of our time at the cabin. We enjoyed the fire pit and cooking on the grill. The inside of the cabin is beautiful and clean. The outside was nice as well but a bit unkempt - mostly minor things that could be resolved easily (grass needed cut, found some garbage lying around, grill was very old and rusty with food residue). The area is very quiet and we enjoyed watching the birds and rabbits on the property in the evening and morning. Check in and check out process was quick and easy. The driveway back to the cabin is a narrow, dirt two-track that could be difficult for oversized cars or those without AWD during inclement weather. The nearest store for basic supplies (snacks, wood, beer, etc) is about a 12-minute drive. Overall we had a nice time and enjoyed our stay.
