Lovely property in a beautiful location
Croak cottage is a home away from home. Beautifully presented and every detail thought about. The garden is fantastic for a family, with access to the esturary we were able to paddleboard every day, and drying everything out was so easy afterwards. The views are stunning too.

September holiday
Lovely cottage, very comfortable and homely. The road is narrow, quite busy and there are no pavements, so walking along the road can be a bit hazardous. The walk along the edge of the estuary is pretty muddy and requires boots or wellies.

Wonderful stay at Frogmore
We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful home, even nicer decor and more spacious than the photos show. A truly picturesque location and we loved the secret garden and the creek. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you Joanna for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Wonderful holiday, a perfect end to 2022
Croak cottage is a lovely place to stay. We stayed 29th Dec to 2nd Jan with our 10 year old daughter & 11 year old dog. The cottage was perfect for us, had everything we could want, it was so warm and comfortable. The outside space was brilliant, the creek and the views were amazing. Unfortunately we did not get much use of the summer house due to the weather! We went to Kingsbridge which was a lovely little town, also went to Slapton Sands for a wet & windy beach walk! On NYD we went to Hope Cove, this is a beautiful place, very scenic, we got boozy coffee's and hot chocolate from the little beach hut & laughed at the crazy people swimming in bikini's! We only wish we had stayed longer as we didn't get to experience the village pub, we would love to return in the summer months & bring the paddle board. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, the most perfect new year, thank you.

Had a really relaxing Christmas Break
Loved this cottage, we had a complete change this year from cooking massive family dinners to being just the two of us with the dogs. Instead of Turkey and every possible thing we cooked Wagu beef, roast potatoes with horseradish and sourdough bread followed by pear and chocolate mousse, Boxing Day we watched wading small Egrets from the cabin , ate smoked salmon bagels with champagne. What is not to like? Thank you Joanna We loved it x

Up the Creek at Croak
Had an amazing stay at the property. A great location for ease of access to the delights South Hams. The highlight for us was the garden, which leads right down to the estuary where we whiled away happy hours watching ‘creek and bird’ life. A lovely cottage, equipped with everything one might need for a holiday stay.

We had a lovely weekend at Croak Cottage in June 2022. The property is dog friendly, beautifully decorated, clean and tidy, well equipped, with wonderful views across the estuary (lovely summer house to sit in when the weather was a little drizzly). There is a parking space outside which we just about managed to get a T5 Camper on! There's a pub just down the road "The Globe" which serves great food and has a cosy atmosphere (also dog friendly in the bar area). Would definitely return for another visit, thank you :-)

Long weekend break
The cottage was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The garden was secure for our dog, who enjoyed her stay as much as us. You could easily spend your time just sitting in the garden watching the creek. There are also beautiful walks from the property. Plus much more to explore in the surrounding area. The local pub serves excellent food and is just 2 minutes walk away.

Fabulous cottage in great location
We only stayed at Croak Cottage for a long weekend but wished we could have stayed longer. The cottage is in a great location for exploring the surrounding areas. Dartmouth, Salcombe, Hope Cove, Kingsbridge etc are all in easy reach. The Globe Inn, just a couple of minutes walk away, is great for drinks and/or food. The cottage was spotless, comfortable and had everything that you could need for your stay. The dog loved the long garden and the views over the Estuary from the bottom were fabulous. Wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the summerhouse. Thank you Jo for your excellent communication, the biscuits and the prosecco. All very much appreciated.

Great cottage at good location
Our family of 4 (+ two dogs) really enjoyed our stay at Croak Cottage. Whilst not right on the coast it gives very easy access to beaches on both sides of the South Devon coast. We enjoyed Thurleston and Torcross beaches, which are both dog friendly all year round. Also Kingsbridge and Salcombe are both only a short drive away. The cottage we very clean and well maintained, recently refurbished to a high standard (it is more specious and bright than the website photos imply).
