In the heart of Knoxville. Walkable to tons of restaurants. We walked to the UT basketball game which was 1.3 miles. Very safe and easy. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staff at Ty hotel was wonderful. The server at the rooftop bar - not so much. She was rude to our group from the second we walked in and there were 12 of us. You’d think she’d be happy to get a group that large. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. The rooftop was one of the reasons we chose this hotel- I hope they can get customer service figured out up there.

The area was great as well as the staff we interacted with. Dislikes were water in shower was luke warm at best, the couch was very uncomfortable and they do not offer rom service so we scanned the restaurant flyer in the room to see what we could order. Went down to the bar to order and bartender advised they did not have the menu items we wanted which was simply a hamburger and chicken sandwich they only had fries and wings. So we had to walk around to find a place to get food to go. we were leaving early next morning so we just wanted to relax and eat in the room. This type of hotel you would think they would have those items and a comfortable couch and water temperature

Great location next to the Tennessee Theatre and walkable to movie theatre and Market Square restaurants. Super cool rooftop lounge with great views too! Starbucks on site, and free, included breakfast was full of options.

Parking ticket for no reason

Only issue I had was I got a citation for parking in the Valet spot after asking the hotel clerk where I should park. She said just leave it there for a while while you pack your luggage. When I came back down to move truck I had already received a citation for parking. I realize it’s only 16 dollars but it is the principal of it. I will pay it because I have no choice but they was very unfair. It has to be the actual valet that called someone to give me a ticket. I wish he or she had of checked with the hotel clerk before getting Knoxville police to give me a ticket.

The pictures are better than reality

I wasn’t comfortable and will not stay again. Parking is a nightmare. The carpet was dirty, I didn’t feel like the room was clean. The breakfast sucked. The walls are dirty.

We were in town to see a show at the Tennessee Theatre. We chose this hotel because it was right next door and we got a good deal where it is off-season. The staff was friendly, breakfast is provided, and there is a Starbucks within the hotel. We did not get to partake in the rooftop bar/lounge, but that is also a nice feature. Note: valet parking is $40 per day. We chose to park at the State Street garage, located just behind the hotel, which is much cheaper (nights and weekends are free; we arrived just after 6pm and left at 11am the next day and only paid $4).
