Great restaurant, poor management.
We return with mixed feelings from our holiday at Familienparadis MONI. There was no reception when we arrived. The boy who was there didn't really want to call any local ski schools for us or to give us any advice on the local area. We had to explore everything on our own. No passports were checked and no documents filled in. The first night, the people in the room next to us managed to start the fire alarm and all the guests at the hotels went out in their pyjamas wondering what is going on and whether there is a real fire. Luckily, we had to bear only the over 10 min. alarm. Our main problems were with the group of Romanian tourists, staying in the two flats next to us. They could't behave properly and could not realise that this is a hotel and there are other guests as well. The group was really loud and arrogant, not leaving us have any peace still 01:30 in the morning. Unfortunately there was nobody at Reception to deal with them. I spoke with the hotel owner/manager on the phone and he apologised about the situation. He explained that the Hotel manager is on a sick leave and it is just unfortunate that we have to deal on our own. The man sounded really calm and understanding, but unfortunately this did not change our stay. Only when this group of people left, we could enjoy our vacation. The best thing about the hotel is the restaurant - the cook is really good and the young waitress with the black hair was great. Thank you, both! Your work was noticed.
