We had an amazing stay at Almont hotel! It has a great location within walking distance from Kyoto station. We got the breakfast included with our reservation and the selection is delicious, you’ll not regretted. Having breakfast ready for you before you start your long day adventure in Kyoto and surrounding areas, it’s a must! Their public bath is amazing too. I highly recommend.

A charming Showa-era style hotel with some modern updates. It’s clean, peaceful, and quiet. The communal bath is a nice touch. There’s an affordable parking lot right across the street. The hotel is very close to the Jujo area, which has some of the best Yakiniku I’ve tried— we found a gem called Hayashi Jujo. It’s also just a short Uber or taxi ride from Kyoto Station. Highly recommend!

Great hotel. Room was a pretty good size. Plenty of space with a desk to do remote work. Staff was extremely friendly, greeted everytime without fail. Will stay again on my next trip to Kyoto.

We loved staying here and will definitely return. The staff were all wonderful - polite, helpful. The room and hotel were clean, comfortable, and everything worked as expected. The breakfast buffet was delicious. It is a short walk to the railway station and very convenient. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel, we had the small double room which was limited in floor space but had everything we needed. Less than 10 mins walk from Kyoto station and all the bars and shops in that area. Very safe and friendly.

Great hotel, great location!

Very convenient location with a short 5 min walk to the train station. Room is considerably larger than the usual Japanese hotel room with a large bathroom as well. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Nice 7-11 is a block away. We would highly recommend this hotel.
