I have stayed in the past with a coach trip. Kyoto station is only across the road. Lovely hotel staff are friendly and the room are really spacious. I will definitely stay again

Less than a 5 minute walk from Kyoto train station so very convenient for travel. Room was clean and a good size. Nice view of the Shinkansen from the window which my children enjoyed, but there was no problem with noise. Only downside was breakfast was very expensive at around GBP 20 per person.

Fabulous location was the best aspect of this hotel. There is NO early check in even if room is ready. Across the road from a mall of beautiful restaurants notably the yakitori one, arrive early no later than 6:30pm for seating as no bookings. ALSO find the AEON MALL in the next street alongside the hotel for great shopping and restaurants. Train station including Shinkansen also comes in here. Rooms a bit older style and dated, but quite large so would stay again. Shiatsu massage and foot massage fantastic and also located in the complex on the outer part of the mall just across the road. $30 for 30 mins and superb! Book in the morning as often a long wait if not. Cash only.
