Pros:
- Outdoor area is awesome! Pool, hottub, cool art sculptures, plenty of chairs, big table for eating, nice big BBQ grill.
- Pool table was fun ... we played it alot. Other games were available too.
- Kitchen had plenty of supplies and even spices for grilling.
- Parking spots inside the gate.
- Close to Old Town LaQuinta with bars and restaurants.
Cons:
- When we arrived, the code that they provided to get into the house did not work. We had to call to get a new code (which was a pretty quick process, though)
- The beds/bedrooms don't really match the listing. The sleeping areas are 2 bedrooms (not 3), a loft and two common rooms with sofabeds. I guess they are considering one of the common rooms a bedroom? But there's just sofabed there (no bed).
-The layout is weird. You have to go through the master bedroom (or outside) to get from the kitchen to the main family/rec room. And the loft has a very tight spiral staircase that is hard to navigate. Good space for small kids, I suppose, but tough for grown adults. We opted for the hideabeds instead of the loft for that reason. Hideabeds were comfortable enough.
Bottom line:
It wasn't perfect but we liked it. We would stay again.
