We checked in and then went to eat dinner. Upon arrival back at hotel, I went in room and there was someone in the room. Went to desk and representative was puzzled there was someone in there. She changed our room and new room was nice but there was trash in trash can and and no soap. Have not had these issues in past.

This one was a bit weird. Property was nice and staff was amazing. The room itself was good. Issues was with the bathroom. Rusty shower for a Hampton. I received one big towel for a 2 person guest stay. The room was kind of noisy. Not sure if it was water or what that was making a sound all night but I was on the first floor. Not that it was the property fault but there was dog poop up and down the hall towards the ice machine. Never seen that before but the front desk girl took care of it once I mentioned it. Stay was just average

Pet friendly, but they put us in a handicap accessible room. I thought that was odd. It seems that someone with these needs should get such a room. Otherwise the hotel was good for a single night. Near Avery Island.

Staff and Service are above and beyond!

This was a return trip for us and we were very happy to stay at this Hampton Inn again. The service was excellent. Lachelle at the front desk went above and beyond to deliver incredible service from the time we arrived and throughout our stay. The fellow who serviced breakfast was a truly joyful start to the day, despite never pausing once during his work, serving so many people. We did have a minor maintenance issue and it was resolved that day. We're always very happy at this hampton inn, mostly because of the great staff and service. Thank you for such kindness and care.
