Wonderful condo at Rumbling Bald!

Wonderful stay at this condo! This condo was the most well stocked home we have ever stayed in. They thought of everything in the kitchen, bathrooms, extra beach towels and beach chairs. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful view of the golf course on the balcony! Rumbling Bald was a nice resort with fun amenities. About a 29 min drive to Chimney Rock area of restaurants and shops. We would absolutely rent again! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Enjoyed our stay, everything in the Condo was as advertised. Because it was stated " the pool is across the way" I sent two 14 year olds outside to find it!!! I had to go pick them up because across the way meant you had to drive there!!!

Spring Break Getaway

My husband and I travelled to Lake Lure for my Spring Break. I have rented this condo before and it is the absolute best! Joy is so helpful if you need anything! She made sure she sent an itinerary of the resort offerings for the solar eclipse. The condo is well decorated and has everything you could possibly need to make it a relaxing stay! It is in a quiet location too! You have access to all the resort amenities! The beds are very comfortable! This condo will definitely stay on my list for future trips! I would highly recommend this one if you want to have a wonderful getaway!

Amazing stay, beautiful property

This is a beautiful property with so many amenities. The owners have thought of everything that you would need. For the cooks, there is a fully stocked spice rack. I’ve stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this is truly the best. The whole family had a blast. We were in town for Labor Day and enjoyed a luau and fireworks. We will definitely be back.

Great long mini-vacation with old friends

We decided to do a 5 day golf/hiking/shopping weekend with friends who moved a few years ago. This property was outstanding in every way. Location, access to golf, Chimney Mountain a few miles away, Asheville an easy hour drive, and the house itself was everything the ad says and more. We’ve had a couple of “marginal” Air-bnb experiences but this renewed our faith. They have thought of everything and the check-in and communications was first class. Perfect mountain getaway

Joy was a delight to work with. She was always quick to communicate and answer questions/make recommendations. The condo is lovely and beautifully decorated. The beds are so comfortable and that is much appreciated because usually rentals are not. Joy has meticulously labeled everything in the kitchen (don’t worry about buying spices - there are plenty!) and you have everything you could possibly need. There are personal touches everywhere and it’s clear they care about their guest’s comfort. The only recommendation I would not heed is eating at Legends by the resort lake entrance. It was our worst dining experience by far. Lured down by the public beach was consistently the best food we ate out. Don’t hesitate to rent this condo - it was perfect for our family vacation!

Girls Trip

My granddaughter and I traveled to Lake Lure for a quick girls trip. This condo was amazing! Well-decorated, clean and quiet! It made for a very relaxing getaway! The amenities were an added bonus! We loved swimming at the pools! It was also very close to restaurants! I would highly recommend renting from Joy if you are looking for a great getaway! I will definitely put this one on my list of ones to rent again! I can't say enough great things about the condo and the host!

Gorgeous, A+++ Clean Golf Course Resort Condo

The condo was extremely clean, comfortable, well appointed and well stocked (e.g., coffee, cleaning supplies, paper products, towels). We enjoyed the resort pools, lazy river and marina. We took advantage of kayaking, pontoon boat guided tour and sampled live music at Rumbling Bald. The host was very hospitable via text message. It was a great stay.

Perfect Mountain Oasis

This condo doesn’t disappoint. It's modern, spacious and clean. We were there for a week and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Very nice, new appliances and cookware. We travel with our own supplies but didn't have to use because everything we needed was there. The wifi is excellent! We are a family of 5 and had more than enough room. Property owner Judy is a great host. We arrived at night and the porch light was on for us! The property is very quiet and the views are great. Very close to Chimney Rock and Asheville, which made our outings effortless. Thank you Judy and Bruce!

Beautiful and Comfortable

The property was just as described! From the minute we walked in we were greeted with beautiful furnishings, great gas fireplace and well stocked kitchen. We prepared our Thanksgiving dinner and had every pan and serving dishes needed. Extremely clean condo with comfy bed. The resort offered amenities that we took advantage of such as the lighting of the Christmas tree. Great location to access hiking trails in the area. We have been visiting this area for six years and this was our favorite!

Relaxing Getaway at Lake Lure

The condo is gorgeous, fully stocked, and quiet. We loved relaxing on the deck in the afternoons with the view of the golf course. Lake Lure is a great place to explore. Beautiful area. Joy was great to work with. She reached out to give us a heads up about an issue they were having and responded to a question we had the night we arrived.

Beat our Expectations by a country mile

Joy is a wonderful owner to work with. She is helpful and prompt with communications. The condo is beautiful, clean and well decorated. We felt very comfortable during our weekend stay. This property is much more updated (recently renovated) than neighboring condo rentals at Rumbling Bald, but you still get access to all the resort offers! New appliances and a well equipped kitchen were great for meals. Helpful lighting and storage description tags were plentiful. We are looking forward to coming back year after year so if you rent here, please keep it nice and we will do the same :)
