It’s a motor lodge - we had a nice large room overlooking some of the high peaks . Room is large and you can control the heat. Mattress is firm but not overly so. Nice hairdryer and bathroom in general. Very clean. Carpeted (brown probably a good choice!) - might be useful to have a boot tray this time of year.

Renovated nice hotel in central location and walkable to town. We stayed in a big room with a couch and lots of space(not sure if all rooms are the same). Heating was great in the winter. Putting fridge in the bathroom was the best idea ever, who likes the fridge buzz at night! Pretty lobby with nice display. Free coffee & snacks for breakfast

We really enjoyed the convenience of the location. We were up for the ADK Luge club slider sessions and the track was only a short 10 minutes away. Location was very walkable to the Olympic Museum, bowling, dining shopping and theater. Room itself was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Only concern was sliding door didn't seem to lock, but maybe there was a trick to it. We stayed on a cold snowy night, so we only stepped out for a quick picture. Overall a very pleasant stay. We would definitely consider staying again next season.

Good location, spacious room, generally clean first floor rooms (on slab) have a very cold bathroom floor entry into room should have tile or something other than carpet to prevent tracking snow into room bathroom fan was noisy shower doors were awkward, somewhat unstable. Door came off-track .... seemed dangerous snow removal/clean-up around rooms was poor

One night family fun in Lake Placid

Family, 6 adults, overnight vacation in Lake Placid. Spectated Nordic high school ski race at Mt. Van Hoevenberg, recreational skiing on trails. Spent overnight at The Devlin, Art Devlin Suite. Very clean, open gathering area with electric fireplace large enough for 6 adults to gather comfortably. Kitchen, pots/pans, utensils, microwave, stovetop, large refrigerator all very clean. Soap, sponges provided. Needed extra garbage bags. Master bedroom very large and clean. Comfortable bed. Loft bedroom, full beds not queen beds, no TV in loft bedroom, but comfortable. Bathroom very large and clean, plenty of towels, soap/shampoo/extra toilet paper provided, toilet had issues with flushing but able to work with it. Walking distance into/around town. Staff very friendly. Would stay here again.

Olympic nostalgia

Lovely place with lots of character. View of the mountains on the balcony. Walk to the ice rink in 4 minutes. Walk to mirror lake in 5 minutes. We also loved the bowling alley right next door!

The Devlin is our "Go To Hotel" in Lake Placid

The staff at the front desk were very friendly and extremely helpful. We love this hotel due to its lovely rooms, which are clean and very spacious. The Devlin is our "go to hotel" whenever we are traveling to Lake Placid. For the price, you cannot find a higher quality place to stay.

Our stay for one night after skiing was great. Close to whiteface and great location to walk to dinner and coffee in Lake Placid. Also breakfast was very convenient to grab on the way out in the morning.
