If you are looking for a relaxing place this is it. Easy access to the Casino's, Heavenly Ski Resort, Shopping and dinning. The beds were extremely comfortable.

Re-habed SLT motel(s). Young vibe. Brewery on-site $$$. Property is starting to feel tired again. Small rooms, no frills bath, old school but not noisy wall furnace unit with very insensitive thermostat. Very good coffee down in the house cafe

Checked in on Christmas day, our room was clean and the heater and shower worked great. The guy playing at the bar was super entertaining and everyone working there was really nice.

Base Camp is a really fun place to stay in South Lake Tahoe. Not only affordable rates, but quite unique with its outdoor courtyard (two fire pits, and large hot tub) a cozy lobby (with rooftop hot tub) and Base Camp Beer Garden! Shopping, restaurants and bars all within walking distance.

Switched rooms three times. First the key didn’t work due to error by staff. So instead of activating the key for the room they told us we were in they made us move across the property to the one we were “supposed” to be in. I was offered a beer for my troubles. Then the second room had no running water and we were moved back across the property to another room with barely an apology. Worst check in ever… rooms aren’t to bad though and the hot tub was nice.
