Great staff; change the sausages; extractor fans need cleaning in bathrooms mine had been switched off; maybe a small fridge in the rooms would be beneficial- can’t reiterate how good the staff where; all staff where brilliant.

We had a wonderful weekend stay celebrating my husbands birthday also enjoyed the evening meal which we were set by Amy who was very friendly and the service was brilliant breakfast was served by joe who was very friendly and professional and again the service was Fantastic food excellent quality and presentation

Real find for overnight stay

Lovely hotel , very friendly helpful staff . Super room , very comfortable beds , very stylish . Great waterfall shower . Fresh milk in room and even a Teapot ! Bar very busy ( Friday night ) nice atmosphere and good food . Will definitely return if my son gets his grades for the University.

Lancaster layover.

Pros: Rooms, staff, bar, and breakfast.
Cons: Bed could be bigger.
Location: Hotel is in centre of historic Lancaster so canal, cathedral and pedestrian area are all nearby.
Decided to split our journey to family in London and chose Lancaster and found this hotel on the web. Check in was at the bar which seemed well stocked and the bar was so welcoming we had a drink before going up to our room. The hotel itself has had a recent refurbishment and the rooms and public areas were pleasantly decorated. There were hot and cold choices for breakfast and I had kippers, eggs and a toasted muffin along with fresh coffee, cereal and a yoghurt. No parking on site during our stay as building works to roof resulted in skips using parking spaces. Puplic parking nearby though.

Cosy hotel with friendly staff.

The rooms are clean and tidy and the pub is modern. Staff are friendly and helpful.
