Rented the property for 4 days through Vrbo then then directly from landlords Niro and Ren December 11 - Jan 1.
It started ok, but during the frozen rain, there was no heat for 8 days (12-13 degrees Celsius indoors), no hot water for 2 days, no water at all for a day.
There was a flood on Christmas Eve. No communication other than one call attempt from landlord before they went into my unit. Which I understand in an emergency case.
I was forced to find accommodations for Christmas Eve last minute because of the flood.
Niro was excellent at communicating to start with, however, when I tried to talk to her about the issue on Christmas Day, she was not happy and told me she’s been very patient with me and already spent too much time on the problem, then there was no reply from her end whatsoever.
I stayed with 3 loud dehumidifier and fans on 24/7 for the rest of my stay.
Laundry doesn’t work throughout the stay which explains the unpleasant smell on sheets and towels. Try bring enough change of clothes during your stay but there is coin operated laundry across the street.
Convenient location, avoid walking on the street alone after dark as it is the hub for random clusters.
