Before even getting out of the car when arriving, there were several men randomly walking around the outside of the hotel, 2 people in particular were smoking right at the front entrance. Upon arrival, desk staff person not welcoming at all and the lobby smelled of cigarette smoke. Food all over the floor in the elevator. Room wasn’t much better. Carpet in the room was torn up and missing right at the entrance to the door. Vent fan in the bathroom was dangling by its wires. When we were unloading our luggage, there was a man, not sure if he was a guest or not, walking around in the parking lot looking like he was just checking things out in the lot. We felt unsafe outside with it being dark. I could go on. Not much, if anything, good to say about this place. What a dump.

It is an older property that needs some renovating. The staff are excellent and very friendly. It is well worth the stay.

This place is great! Every time I go to Cruces, I stay there. Nice rooms, very clean, breakfast great...Next to Cracker barell, off hwy 10! Next to Walmart...3 Stars!
