Dirty Room

I was excited to stay at the plaza hotel because of other reviews but I was very disappointed. The room I was assigned was very dirty with trash behind the tv, there was lips imprinted on the window and the shower looked very dirty. Did not have a pleasant experience.

I had a very poor experience gambling one morning. As I just had a preference in chips and the pit boss was in disgust and commented "Why do you have to be so complicated." Your team needs to be educated on player experience as my ask was not out of control and almost normally reasonable in any situation.

Hotel room review

Pillows used to be bigger but now the room comes with 2 small pillows per person and when asked for more I was told that only can give one more extra pillow per person. Only received one extra pillow instead of 2. When it was brought up to me and my boyfriend. When taking a shower need to wait 10 minutes for the water to actually get hot. I used to stay in this hotel a lot some years ago but now it just looks run down and old.

Nice place to stay, close to Fremont street, rooms were clean, and staff were nice. The only drawback was the casino is older and the ventilation system was not the best. The cigarette smell was pungent.

The gentlemen at the front desk was cordial. Yet the room and property were not up to par.The room smelled like vomit and bleach.People in the parking lot were raming oneanothers car arguing and fighing. Me and my guest felt unsafe!! We left...!!!

Stayed in the Luxe room. Was able to check in a few hours early which was fantastic! Friendly staff, great drinks. Didn’t request housekeeping but did request some extra towels, etc and they were delivered very quickly! Definitely recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised at the size of our rooms and the cleanliness. I enjoyed that the hot tub was warm and open 365 days a year, however the hours are limited. It was difficult to get in touch with housekeeping and the front desk to ask for things. I got a text upon check-in stating I can text the front desk for requests but I never got a follow up. The front desk took a really long time to answer the phone (20 rings). I enjoyed the amenities such as the carousel bar and the coffee bar in the lobby. I was disappointed there wasn’t a coffee maker in the room, but I likened that there was a mini-fridge. The location is right off of Freemont so ask for a room in the south tower if you want a little peace and quiet. Overall, I’d say the plaza is a good budget friendly hotel!
