The bed was clean and comfy, and the tv worked.These are the only positives I can offer. There were 2 adults booked in, only 1 mug in room. No fridge water to drink, or fridge bar as advised in reception. We did read the suggestion to request more crockery etc, but we didn’t enter our room until after 8pm, but all the same when a booking is for 2 adults, you would expect there to be 2 cups at least, and bottled water for drinking. The shower dripped all night, it was the hot water. All in all the room was very tired looking, because of its age, also the bathroom boxed fittings were not filled, but there was soap and shampoo bottles. The only mug available was dirty, it still had the lip mark on the side aswell as a stain in the bottom. No safety rail in bath, which is a safety factor. All in all not what we expected, the room was very old and tired looking. We were also surprised that we had to walk up stairs to our room, not realising we could have requested a ground floor room.

Reception staff excellent, very informative and friendly. Nice and clean. Very clam area with a nice cafe closeby. The hotel is a little bit old fashined. The walk to city took us more 15-20 minutes.

The bed and pillows were comfortable, the shower was strong, but the bath was worn out. No face washer, no tissues, no spare pillows. Needs an update, butfor the cost it was ok. Parking very narrow and not enough park spaces
