We stayed here over the weekend and truly didn’t want to leave. Every detail—from the thoughtful amenities to the cozy extras—made the space feel welcoming and familiar, like stepping into a home curated with care. The kitchen was well-stocked, the linens were soft, and even the smallest touches felt intentional.But the real magic? The pond and the view. Morning coffee by the water, golden hour reflections, and quiet evenings watching the light shift across the landscape—it was absolutely breathtaking. If you're looking for a place to rest, reflect, or simply enjoy nature's beauty with all the comforts of home, this is it.

Perfect

The property was perfect. It was close to the ball park for my daughter’s tournament and had plenty to occupy my son such as fishing and exploring. The cabin was spacious and exceptionally clean. The host provided extras such as snacks, drinks, and grilling meats that were just icing on the cake. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Quiet and convenient wonderful property

This is our second time staying at the property - it was just as good as it was the first time. Property is very quiet and comfortable. It is located minutes away from downtown Laurel and about the same distance to the newer areas of Laurel where there are chain restaurants and grocery stores (including Walmart). The host is very nice and very helpful. We will be back.

A Real Five Star

Lee is an amazing host, he had deer sausage in the freezer, condiments, coffee and assorted creamers. He even had bite size variety chocolates in a bowl, milk, cheese and Coca Cola products including bottled water. Now I know what a real five star rating looks like. The property is beautiful, Lee even had fishing worms available and the poles ready for fishing in his pond. We will be back and appreciate the stay. The tv even had YouTube tv programmed, so we didn’t have to input our subscription information. Again, a real five star place and host.

Awesome property

This property is the cleanest and most comfortable property we have ever stayed in. The host provides way more than what you will find in any other location. There were drinks, snacks,coffee. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked as was the laundry. If you want a place to relax and unwind this is it.

Anniversary Stay

Lee, the Cabin on the Hidden Pond was fabulous! The drive into the gate and down the lane was so picturesque! Everything was exactly like your photos. Your thoughtfulness of the treats and milk so kind. We loved the town and people of Laurel. Great places to eat and lots to enjoy! I got some beautiful pictures of fog above the pond on two mornings. We loved our time there. Got lots of walking on lane and trails. So quiet and peaceful. Thanks again! Carolyn & Gary Schoof

Woodland Cottage

The Woodland Cottage is amazing. The host thought of everything we possibly needed from stocking the refrigerator with drinks, fishing pole and worms, and a green egg for grilling. This place is truly a retreat.

Pictures don’t do this justice! Such a cute place!! I’ve never been to a place that stocked the fridge with drinks and condiments and the cabinets with snacks! Definitely recommend

Restful Stay Away

Perfect spot right outside of town to get away from the hustle of a city and yet still close enough if something is needed in town. Very hospitable host and property is very clean and set up for relaxation. Thank you for the great stay!

This place was wonderful! The location was perfect and the setting was outstanding. The house was very clean and comfortable and was looking right out on a pond. Lee was a fantastic host and made us feel right at home! Had snacks for us, fishing poles, and worms! Could not have asked for a better place to stay!

The Fantastic Cottage with pond

The property is amazing!! It starts with the wonderful drive from the gate to the cottage and the pond is outstanding. The cottage is immaculate and is stocked with everything you would need. We can’t wait to come back!

Quiet getaway but still close to town

We could not have enjoyed our stay more
 other than if we had stayed longer. The host has thought of so many extra touches, even a Green Egg grill
 which we used to grill steaks and eat in one night while admiring the pond and scenery. He even left my husband some fishing worms and fishing poles. If you choose this cottage, you should not be disappointed.

Absolutely Idyllic

If I could give this beautiful vacation cottage 11 stars, I would. It was absolutely clean, quiet, well-appointed and superbly stocked with anything we could have asked for or wanted for our week away. Communication with our host was A++. He even had fresh worms ready for my hubby to use for fishing in the pond and mid-week housekeeping to freshen up the cottage. This was a fun week away from Minnesota’s cold and snowy weather. Hidden Gem on Hidden Pond

There are no words to express the beauty of this little gem! Our first visit to MS from Las Vegas was made perfect by the warmth, comfort and seclusion of this adorable cabin home. Everything was clean, doors were secure, the private gated entrance was a great layer of security, and all amenities were provided! The snack cabinet was a bonus and we appreciated the creamer in the fridge for our arrival! We fished multiple times a day and caught several bass and blue gill. The bait was fresh and the poles were handy. This was like walking into a postcard. We are already planning our return! Thank you, Lee!
