Leith Hotels with Gym

"Direkt am Edinburgh Zoo angegliedert lag das Hotel. Mit dem Bus, der direkt vor der Tür abfährt, gelangt man direkt in die Innenstadt oder in die andere Richtung zum Flughafen. Beides ist ca. 20 Min. Busfahrt entfernt. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir konnten unser 4er Zimmer sogar gesplittet bezahlen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und modern. Die Logik der Platzierung von Lampen und dazugehörigen Schaltern war etwas sinnfrei. Ist eher für Familien geeignet. Die Zwischentür, die das anliegende Zimmer verbindet, hat leider gar keine Geräuschisolierung, sodass man alles aus dem Nachbarzimmer hören konnte. Der Sport- und Wellnessbereich war gut, leider sind die Decken total verschimmelt. Andere Gäste haben sich vorm Eintauchen ins Schwimmbecken nicht abgeduscht, daher sind wir im Endeffekt nicht lange geblieben. Gepäckaufbewahrung lief problemlos ab und ich konnte den gesamten Tag vor der Abreise noch die Stadt erkunden. "

"I find that with Leith, the Malmaison has a very good location. You are outside from all the trouble and still close enough. Taking a walk around the Malmaison is also very nice and there are plenty of different restaurants, pubs and cafés to be found. Only thing I have to mention is that my room (although it was clean) was not the most modern one. The wardrobe doors did not fit in size anymore and the bath area already showed some signs that a deep clean or a change of certain materials/objects were necessary (e.g. soap holder). Aside from it: Very nice and calm residence and very welcoming employees. I would recommend the place. "
