Stormy ocean lulled us to sleep
We watched the hugest waves! The ocean sound is magical. We walked to the beach and visited pelican brewing Company! Our condo had games that we played & we loved sleeping on the bed by the patio so we could listen to the waves. The fireplace is wonderful! We only wished we could stay longer. We will definitely be back.

Excellent for the Price Point
We very much enjoyed our two night stay at this property!! The location is fabulous! It is one of the few Lincoln City properties that is truly on the beach (just a dozen steps to the sand). The pool is small, but lovely. The furnishings in the room were updated and the couch is so very comfy. The kitchen is dated, but everything worked. The second floor balcony was wonderful. It is a quick drive to many great hiking spots and other beach access with tide pools. The tv was a challenge to just be able to get something to work for chilling out in the evening. The gas fireplace is easy and convenient and so welcome each evening at the coast. A perfect, not crazy expensive cozy spot for a short get away!!

Great location, right on the beach. Lincoln beach is one of the nicer beaches imo. Condo was clean and check-in process was super easy. Parking wasnt terrible but a lot of bigger vehicles made it a little tight. Overall, a great stay.

Lovely weekend In Lincoln City
Nice clean suite for the weekend, right on an excellent beach! Close to shops, including the lovely Chocolate Frog candy shop. There are heaters in each room but no air conditioning that we saw - not a big deal on a reasonably temperate August day. The queen bed near the balcony door was super comfy, but the king bed in the back bedroom was VERY firm

Nice overall aside from loud upstairs neighbors
Spacious, clean and well-appointed condo with MUCH more modern furnishings than I usually see at coastal spots. Great location right on the beach. Friendly reception staff. Good amenities. My only complaints are that we got almost zero sleep both nights due to loud guests right above us (child running across the floor and adults stomping, child screaming on balcony - starting at about 5 am). I did text management about it and they did speak with the guest. I would suggest staying on the 3rd floor if you sleep in later or are a light sleeper, and don’t mind dragging your stuff up to the top floor. The building is old and they send out an intro email asking people to be mindful of being loud above other neighbors, but we all know how humans are when it comes to entitlement. They also sent a random text to my cell phone during our 2nd day there “reminding me” that no smoking (including marijuana) is allowed, and that someone near us had complained. I found that to be very odd and off-putting - the way it was stated felt accusatory. I would stay here again but never any other place but the top floor. it felt almost accusatory.

The room was right on the beach. A walk down the stairs and you’re right on the beach. The room was clean as well as the kitchen. The only downside to this property is the very small parking spaces. Is was hard parking a large pickup and when we arrived all the open parking spaces outside of the extremely narrow carports were full. We ended up having to wait for someone to leave. On our second day of staying the internet was shut down. I had to go down to the main office who informed me all the units had no spectrum and they didn’t know when it would be back. So no tv and no wifi. The unit is in a dead zone so making phone calls was spotty. We love the beach and enjoyed our stay.

Great location.
The D Sands complex is centrally located and handy for getting wherever you want to go. It's an older complex but has been nicely maintained. The unit that we stayed in appears to have been updated in recent years and while I wouldn't call it modern, it was certainly clean and nicely appointed. When we arrived the TV in the living room wasn't working. After a bit of checking I determined that none of the electrical on that wall was working. I found the breaker box but nothing had tripped. I reset the breakers anyway, but to no avail. I went down to the office and reported it and they said they would send someone up to check. Someone arrived in about 15 minutes and verified what I had found. They left and in about another 15 minutes a maintenance person arrived, found a bad outlet, replaced it, and had everything working. While it's always better to not encounter any problems, it is very important how problems that do occur are handled. Kudos to the staff at D Sands for their quick and courteous resolution to our electrical problem! Overall we were very happy with this unit.

Comfy retreat on the OR Coast
We enjoyed our stay in this comfortably appointed condo with spectacular views of the Oregon Coast. The condo was nicely decorated, warm and inviting. We spent time on the cute balcony watching the waves. Loved having a bed in the main room so we could listen to the waves and watch the sunsets. Will visit again.

It's the little things...
This may come across as nit-picky to some, but it is what it is. Check-In: There's no good reason to not allow early check-in if the unit is clean and ready. The front desk was very unreasonable in this regard. Kitchen: If you advertise as a full kitchen, then guests should expect to be able to cook full meals. This unit clearly hasn't had any investment in dishes, utensils, etc in many years. One big pot and one small frying pan. The can opener is so old and worn out it wouldn't open a can. 4 forks in the drawer. Pool/Hot Tub: Down for 2 of the 4 night's stay.
