Great hotel

Nice hotel great area just a shame there was works in the hotel meaning we had to use a small dirty entrance. Breakfast was good as was having a Costa on site. Beds were comfortable Only down side was a bit dirty in bathroom, not enough coffees and the mini bar wasn’t refilled for our second night

Just a bit poor all round. Hotel going through some building work. Hard to get to rooms and reception. Not many lifts seem to be working to a full walk around the hotel to try and find the stairs which wasn't signposted very well. Ended up at a fire door on one occasion. Mainly Arabic hotel.

Entrance chaotic as being refurbished currently. Room was nice. Bath is quite high so difficult to get in and out of with disability. Food nice but breakfast staff need to be more pro-active explaining how to get tea. Downside and not hotels fault but found majority of other guests rude, no manners, barging past.

Ok but needs improvement

Problem I had was finding the entrance, it looked like a mosque from the outside Arabic writing everywhere, really off putting for the capital of London, will never stay again because of all that, besides that everything else was ok shame about the Wi-Fi being extremely slow too.

Great stay but disappointed with lost item help

We had a great stay overall—the location was good, our room was clean, and the beds were comfortable (our son liked the put-up bed too!). The staff we met were all friendly and helpful. Dinner in the bar was tasty, and service was prompt. Breakfast was enjoyable as well. However, the ongoing work in the reception area made access a bit inconvenient, especially with the number of people using the stairs and the single lift. Unfortunately, we also left something behind in our room and, despite reaching out multiple times via phone and email, we haven't been able to retrieve it, which has been disappointing. It's a shame, as we otherwise really enjoyed our stay."

Everything was superb, except we spent too much time in Breakfast and our key nolonger opened rhe door and house keeping would not help! So i had to go back downstairs and sort out the key , reception were very helpful but left me annoyed id forgotten my watch and over run at the delicious breakfast ! I had a very disappointing experience at Thistle Marble Arch, mainly due to poor customer service and misleading information. I specifically requested a soundproof room and was assured it was, but I could still hear other guests closing doors, and at 4 AM, the sound of showers was extremely loud. Additionally, whenever other guests used the bathroom sink, I could hear water flow and pump noises coming into my room. On top of that, the fridge in my room was incredibly noisy, making it impossible to sleep. When I raised these issues with reception, they made excuses, questioning why I hadn’t contacted them at night. The truth is, I tried multiple times, but no one answered the phone. When I finally spoke to them in the morning and requested compensation or a partial refund, they refused outright. The morning manager, John, was unprofessional and dismissive, making the experience worse. Additionally, when I checked in, I was given a room on the seventh floor but was left to find it myself, which took me over 15 minutes. Even three-star hotels offer better service. I had seen negative reviews about this hotel but gave it a chance—I regret that decision. If you value good sleep and proper service, avoid this hotel. At £185 for one night, I expected far better. Do not book if you don’t want to be disappointed!
