The staff were great. It was very clean throughout too which is always nice. I think all in all, both myself and the wife had about 3 hours sleep. The bed was 2 singles or small doubles put together and they were different heights as well as firmness. We could hear all kinds of noises from above as well as the corridor. We could even hear when people were having coffee from the coffee machine. Even more so at 5am. The yacht is very grand and amazing, but won’t be back due to the lack of sleep.

OK but not really superb as one would expect
Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff; comfortable room and decor. Judging from the bathroom, the hotel is getting tired. This is echoed in the bed - pretty hard and not very comfortable while the pillows were 'tough'. I did have a good sleep, but didn't feel rested and even had a slight neck ache. Not sure the a/c actually did what it was supposed to...

Property was fine, just the staff (manager in particular) that’s unnecessarily power mad. Wouldn’t let guests check in prior to 3pm even though we were informed rooms were ready. Coffee machine is powdered too, and no option of espresso (real coffee) at breakfast.

The yacht is amazing and our room was fabulous, and the staff were brilliant. However the self service breakfast wasnt great when it came to cooked items. The food was warm when i expected a hot breakfast. I've stayed in other establishment's with self serve breakfasts and never encounteref this problem. Then we had a problem with the lifts. One wasnt working and then other would not come down to 1st floor, only manageing to make it to quayside. My wife had to walk up to the 3rd floor reception to check out and i exited via the service gangway as i have knee problems and couldn't manage the stairs. If the food and lift issue's hadnt have happened this would be a 5* review with a return visit guaranteed.

Suite is definitely a nice stay!
Upon checking in, I was offered a free upgrade to one of the large suites at the front of the boat. The suite was a great size and the balcony was extremely large overlooking the river in the bathroom was a nice surprise as there was not only a Jacuzzi bath, but also a sauna. The room is very clean. The mini bar is stocked and included in the room cost and all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful on my stay.

I really enjoyed my stay, the setting is great and the views are super. The reception staff and bar staff were very friendly, however the air conditioning in the room was not working, so the room was 23-24 degrees all night, the reception staff tried to help but could not fix the problem I was brought a fan but it didn’t really help, as a result I had a very poor nights sleep.

Bar closes at 11pm!
A fantastic hotel and a great location. I was visiting the Excel for business and it is a short walk away. I was surprised that the hotel closes the bar at 11pm and even residents are not served after 11pm. I was with businees guests and it was embarrassing.

Sunborn Hotel Docklands
I was there with 3 friend's celebrating a 60th Birthday, it was a great weekend. The Hotel was stunning, staff very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. Would definately come back.
