The property was exactly as advertised. It is definitely more of a cabin than a house. But everything worked as needed. And the holiday decor was a nice added touch. The mattress in the downstairs in-law unit is failing and should be replaced. But other than that, no one in our group had any complaints. The game room was great for kids. The Wi-Fi was definitely super strong. Netflix streaming works great. Fridge, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, all worked just fine. Plenty of dishes although they could use a few more cereal bowls. We supplemented with our own paper goods. The space heaters were nice, and the central heater worked just fine. We were able to park four cars under icy and snowy conditions: one in the garage, two in front of the garage, and one in the side driveway. The garage entry area does get icy and slippery. The laundry machines worked great, as did the tankless water heater. The hosts left us some housewarming gifts waiting for us when we arrived, which was a really thoughtful touch. We skied at Dodge Ridge a couple of days and getting there was very easy from the cabin, maybe a 15 minute drive with ice and snow conditions. There's a gas station and small grocery in the neighborhood, and a very good pizza parlor nearby. The cabin has four levels, which means three flights of stairs to get from garage to upper bedrooms. So we definitely got our steps in each day.
