We arrived for a one night lay-over in LA. Check in was fine. The air conditioner in our room leaked all night - And not a little…but a lot. Being 2am and not wanting to wake our two kids, we just endured it. When we let front desk know at check out they just said “thanks”.

Lovely hotel conveniently located a few minutes drive from Manhattan Beach, LAX, an 18 hole golf course, shopping, and more. Friendly and professional staff and very nice restaurant with a menu that'll satisfy even the most sophisticated palates. Plenty of easy parking.

Overall, it is not a terrible hotel, the overall ambiance, especially the fire place in the lobby was a nice touch. Our room however and the hallway leading up to our room reaked. The hallway smells like stale air with a hint of cigarettes. Our room has a smell that I can't even put my finger on except that it smelled bad and also like chlorine, it was weird. There was even an air purifier plugged in and running when we got to our room,and I had to alert the front desk. When they sent maintenance to pick up the machine he said it was because this room "has a bad odor". Never did they offer to move us or offer a discount. Just acted like everything was okay. I had just driven 6hrs+ from Santa Cruz so I was just tired and used the little garbage can to prop open the door to help air it out. Also, it has been a few weeks since my stay and the deposit hold hasn't left my card yet $150 still pending, so beware of that too!

Amazing stay!
Amazing stay! A very cool hotel with beautiful decor. Our room had a small divider with shutters between the beds. I loved that. The beds were comfy. The outdoor area was beautiful. The staff was super friendly. I would stay here again.
