Perfect Stay with an Amazing Host

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful VRBO property, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. He provided all the information we needed and was always available for any questions. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we could ask for. Each day was filled with relaxation and fun, thanks to the cozy atmosphere and the stunning surroundings. Our host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, even sharing great local recommendations for dining and activities. Perfect Beach Getaway

We really love the location of this stay within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The host was flexible and communicated with us well including giving us suggestions on places to go. The kitchen was the perfect size to make meals, we enjoyed having the laundry facilities, the beach chairs, and towels, and the great amenities outside, including the grill and fire pit. Provided parking was great! We especially thought that the classic books for beach reading that were available was a nice gesture. Highly recommend.

Loved this special gem of a place! Perfectly located just steps to the beach, shops and restaurants. The unit has everything you need to be comfortable with nice appliances, amenities, etc. Loved that all the switches are labeled so you're not hunting for which light is which! Great Wi-Fi as well. Super place to work and play - will be back!

Amazing rental

This property has more than enough amenities included. Anything you might need other than groceries is included. Host is super responsive and place is so clean and comfortable . I was amazed at how soft the bed was. It is so close to the beach and the Strand . We will book this place again! I can’t say enough good things about this place. Love love love it!

Amazing property & location!

Had an amazing stay here! The apartment is fully renovated, extremely clean and exactly as pictured. The location is a few blocks from the beach and from downtown - which can’t be beat! Brian was also extremely helpful and very easy to communicate with during my stay. Highly recommend. I’m already planning my next trip back!

Manhattan Beach is wonderful and we visit our family there regularly. This location is wonderful-close to the beach and the Strand and all of the shops and restaurants. We stayed in our host’s cozy studio and it is a marvel of design for a small space. EVERY Possible need is anticipated. Our host was very accessible. We could not give a better review.

small unit, great location, but very noisy (kids) from upstairs unit starting at 7am. We are a young couple from Ariz that grew up in MB area. Between prompt communication with Brian, 10/10 location, 10/10 amenities (including the little things of rabbit wine opener, air purifier, sonos speakers, nice beach chairs, boogie boards etc), 10/10 cleanliness- highly recommend. Top experience!

Brian’s immaculate studio is comfortable, pleasant, very well-provisioned, and maintained to perfection. It’s compact (as other reviews mention) but the outdoor patio (really more like an Al fresco living room) more than compensates. What a special spot! We loved jogging along the Strand, walking to the beach for the afternoon, meeting friends for lunch, and going out for drinks/dinner.. ALL WITHIN BLOCKS. We can’t wait to return— a perfect couples getaway. As nice as a hotel but with my own coffee in AM and laundry.

Loved the place. Seems small at first (it is a studio), but the private patio was extremely comfortable and like a total extra room. Very high end finishes and nice touches all around. Two blocks to the beach and two blocks to downtown, Three blocks to grocery. It was perfect.

Very enjoyable three days at this studio. Excellent location. The living/sleeping area is a bit small, the size of a bedroom, but the bathroom is a good size and the kitchen area big enough to prepare and store food and drink. Thank you for providing such a comfortable home away from home.

Excellent location, attention to detail!

This was a great spot to stay - super convenient and in one of the best possible locations. The apartment is small, but the attention to detail and amenities are perfect with many extra/thoughtful touches throughout. Literally has everything you need. The bathroom is very large, and the outdoor patio is big and private - so you have even more living space available to make it feel even bigger. Perfect for short stays, but definitely doable for longer. Would love to stay again on my next time through. Thank you!

Stylish, comfortable bungalow walking distance from the beach

This was our 2nd time staying at Brian's property and we thoroughly enjoyed it again! The downstairs unit is a well-equipped and designed studio with all the necessary amenities we need including nicely equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom with a top-notch dual-shower head & faucet combo, big lighted mirror, hair dryer, plenty of towels and toilet paper, lots of storage cubbies, washer/dryer combo, large closet with full-length mirror doors. The bed is a Murphy style that Brian already had pulled down and made up. We did not ever push it back up but could have if we needed more living room space during the day. WIFI and large smart TV worked great. The unit opens to a private outdoor living area with furniture - we used it on our first stay but not this time since we had a busy schedule out and about. We had a nice on-property parking spot for an economy size car. Access is via smart locks on the gate and doors so we never had to worry about managing keys although he does have a key option for the doors if wanted. Brian does an excellent job of instant, helpful, detailed communication. We will definitely be back again as it is our favorite place to stay when we are in LA. Thank you, Brian!

Couldn't have asked for more

Everything about the property lived up to our expectations...and more. Being from the area originally, we knew the location was spectacular, but for anyone visiting for the first time, you cannot beat being so close to The Strand and also walking distance to restaurants/shops. As far as the property itself, one of the best amenities offered is a parking spot, as street parking can be very difficult. Inside, everything was immaculate. The bedding and towels were on the more luxurious side and very comfortable. The attention to detail as far as "extras" that a traveler might need was a very pleasant surprise. I am someone who cannot live without their hair straightening iron, so I had brought my own, but it was amazing to see that there was one in the bathroom available for a traveler who may have forgotten theirs. The host, Brian, had asked us ahead of time if there was anything he could provide to make our stay even better, and he had stocked the kitchen with snacks, drinks, and fresh half and half for our morning coffee! The only thing that would have made our stay even better is if we could have spent more than four nights at this property. Thank you, Brian!

A great space and location!

This unit is in such a nice spot of Manhattan Beach, an easy and comfortable walk to downtown and the beach. The space is so well organized, the kitchen is labeled nicely as well as all lighting. The space was perfect for me to relax after work, and is really clean. The bathroom and kitchen are so nice and the private yard is great. One of the best spaces I have stayed in and communication with the host is really good and they are super accommodating and helpful with quick replies as well! If you’re okay with a studio space, then don’t hesitate to book here. :)
