Beware of this property. After paying and confirming the booking we didn’t receive the check in details. We travelled from the UK and after a 11 hours flight we turned up at the complex and the booking was non existent. According to the complex manager we were not the first to arrive after paying and there being no property. Do NOT book this property!

Cancelled last minute

Cancelled last minute. This was very unprofessional had a very hard time contacting host for check in. My family and I had this booked for 2 months in advance as we were taking vacation to California. Was not able to contact host the day off check in as he said we will be receiving check in info the morning of but only received cancellation notice an hour before check in. Practically my family and I were stranded upon arrival as we drove from Colorado to California. Very unprofessional

Fabulous view! Older condo with comfortable beds, convenient washer and dryer, lots of windows and light, great dining space, fabulous location, but needs deep cleaning, updating and maintenance. Microwave only works if you reset it every time you use it, walls around windows need repair, and some electrical outlets don’t work.

Wonderful View

We were pleasantly surprised with the view as soon as you open the door!! WOW!! The property manager was helpful except when it came to asking for help with the garage opener! Don’t be mislead by the 3 bedrooms cause it is only 2 with a bed in the living room area. The master is very hot and musky with not enough AC vents. The fan in the master is broken with only 2 out of 3 blades so it shakes really bad and can’t be used. Overall, we probably wouldn’t stay again because we really needed the 3 bedrooms but the view made all of the downsides disappear.

Great View - No Frills Apartment

The location and view is amazing. It’s near the 41 Pier, Venice Beach and the Santa Monica Pier. Parking is in a garage, which is secure. The apartment is very large, but sparsely furnished for a family. I was surprised the large balcony - with an amazing view - had no furniture. The laundry room off the kitchen was convenient, although the dryer was quite noisy. Getting into the garage was a bit confusing, but we worked it out. I received no owner communication until the day of check-in. His assistant was very reachable during the stay. No “here’s what you need to know when you stay here” information was available in the apartment. Would I stay here again? Definitely maybe.

The property is older but with a few small additions would have been very comfortable. Towel racks missing, could use more kitchen supplies and air unit is loud. We were also not supplied a check in sheet or a map to get around property. Location worked fine, few blocks from beach.

Great location and plenty of space!

We loved staying in this unit. It was huge, with a beautiful view of the ocean. The location was great and the included parking space was super helpful. The only downside was that they included no instructions. We had to reach out each time we needed to find the unit, find the pool, operate the wifi, etc. It would be great if they provided instructions in advance or left them printed inside the unit.

Nice roomy minimalist high rise unit near beach.

This was a nice larger space for our purpose. There are two bedrooms with doors, and a 3rd bed that has a shoji screen for privacy. The building is a little confusing and is quite large. We had difficulty trying to figure out how to get onto the street without having to go through the garage. There are some good restaurants walking distance and the beach is pretty close. Overall good space.

Great location with stunning ocean views

Overall good rental in Marina Del Rey for our family of 5 with plenty of space. Such a convenient location to farmer's market, Venice beach and plenty of restaurants. We had good communications with the owner and manager of the apartment who addressed most of the concerns. The advertised 3rd bedroom is really just a section of the family room separated by a screen, but worked fine for a child's "bedroom". Kitchen supplies were very basic for our needs.

Not As It Appears

This place was super sketchy. Signs posted on the condo entrance saying "No Short-term Rentals Allowed in this Facility" (including a service that was named and is similar to VRBO), tenants in other condo units suspicious and negatively speaking to us as VRBO renters, the apartment was almost bare -- I mean, less than the bare essentials, "Fresh" towels were still wet and looked about 5 years old, no Iron or Ironing board, and filthy floors, cabinets, couch -- Clearly a fast money grab. Also -- getting into the place felt like we were breaking in. The guy who managed the place facetimes you as he watches you enter the building and unlocks the garage door for us to get in. Just weird. I would strongly urge anyone to find a hotel instead of this joke.

Family Weekend at LMU

The condo is very spacious, gorgeous ocean view and great location by the Marina. Everything about the condo was comfortable and convenient. Host was very accommodating and available for any questions or recommendations We often visit LA and we would stay here again.

Thanksgiving-Marina del Rey

The property was very clean although furniture was sparse. Some outdoor furniture for the balcony would have been nice. The kitchen was reasonably stocked with basics. The view and location were great, and it was very quiet. The check-in process was very difficult. The owner sent me a video of getting into the parking garage. It was not very helpful as I was never told until much later the street that allowed me to access the garage or the gate that was the correct entry (there were many gates). The two reserved parking spots were already full, so we had to be reassigned. I was also given an incorrect code for entry into the unit. Cetaly, the property manager took over helping us get in and was very responsive that evening. However, all of these errors/omissions required several texts and time to resolve. The garbage disposal stopped working on our second day and the toile in the bathroom was stopped up on the third day. Neither of these were fixed by the time we left. Cetaly did answer the text I sent about the disposal but no response for the toilet. Fortunely it was a 2 bath unit.
