I've stayed at this hotel many times but this was the first time I was given a room on the back side of the property which butts up against the very busy 101 freeway. My room did not have trees to buffer the freeway noise (hello sleepless night). Needless to say, I "upgraded" my room the next morning for a fee. Wasn't too happy about that.

Great for one night

Breakfast was good. Nothing fancy, but plenty of options and tasty. Clean and plenty of seating. The outdoor pool area was great, definitely could’ve hung out there all day on a nice day. The beds were probably some of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept in and pillows were awful, but the room was clean. It was fine for one night. Walls are very thin so you hear a lot. Didn’t bother me, but it could definitely bother someone.

This hotel was perfect for our stay! We were in town for volleyball at Cal Lutheran University. It was right around the corner. The on site restaurant was delicious and servers were amazing. The property of the hotel was beautiful.

Motel-style with a nice big courtyard and pool behind lobby. Lovely atmosphere in restaurant for complimentary breakfast. It has more flavor than the typical chain hotels found by the highways. Short walk to grocery. Room was a good size, bathroom very nice. The heater was a little noisy. Would stay again.

Almost a great place to stay

Pillows were hard and uncomfortable. HVAC was noisy. Walls very thin. The grounds were nice and the restaurant was terrific. The free breakfast was fine.
