The cabin is on a quiet stretch of Finn Bay Road and is in the middle of a treed area. The cabin itself is very comfortable and spacious with nice picnic tables on the balcony and outside. The bed was very comfortable - if you prefer a firm bed as we do, you can easily take off the memory foam that is on top of the mattress. Kelli was very responsive to our requests and questions. It is a short walk to the Savory Island Ferry and one can rent paddle boards from the same location. It is also a short walk from Diver's Rock up the road -a beautiful spot to swim from and to watch the sunset. We had only one complaint. One morning, quite early while we were still in bed, we were awakened by fairly load noises. Another cabin is being constructed on the property and we thought that perhaps workmen had arrived quite early. The noise stopped after a while, and when we got up we could detect no evidence that any workmen had been on the property. A bit later, the noise began again. We looked out and could detect nothing. Then we noticed that a pesky squirrel was running around the tall tree beside the cabin under construction, stripping off the pine cones, which would fall about 50 feet and then explode when they hit the wooden structure! Otherwise, all of the wildlife was quite reasonable and polite.
