Heaven's Hideaway sur la rivière Shenandoah

Récemment construite (terminée en août 2017), cette cabine d'accès à la rivière est conçue pour les couples ou les petites familles. Heaven's Hideaway a été conçu pour être ouvert et spacieux tout en se sentant chaleureux et personnel à la fois. Regardez les photos et vous serez instantanément accroché!

À l'extérieur, il y a un accès à la rivière - vous pouvez entendre l'eau de la cabine! - avec beaucoup d'espace dans la cour pour se détendre ou explorer la nature. Il y a aussi une belle terrasse spacieuse avec un nouveau bain à remous moderne, un gril à gaz et un grand salon. Le coin salon du pont dispose d'un foyer au gaz pour plus de chaleur. Trop de parasites la nuit? Il y a aussi un grand porche grillagé où vous pourrez siroter du vin et parler pendant des heures.

À l'intérieur, Heaven's Hideaway est rempli de bout en bout de touches rustiques chaleureuses dans chaque pièce. La cuisine complète (y compris le lave-vaisselle) a des appareils modernes, un évier à tablier, de belles couleurs et un îlot pour un espace de comptoir supplémentaire. Le coin salon est grand et spacieux. Les chambres, le grenier, la salle de bain - vous allez adorer chaque pièce! Jour de pluie? Nous avons une salle de jeux avec des tas de jeux de société! Asseyez-vous près des fenêtres panoramiques avec du café et un livre.

VEUILLEZ NOTER: Il y a du Wi-Fi ici, mais en raison de la zone rurale, le signal n'est pas fort ou très fiable.
Lors de votre séjour dans cette cabane, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes de marche de George Washington National Forest (forêt nationale). Heaven's Hideaway- a perfect getaway on the Shenandoah River!
The property was beautiful and the attention to detail was amazing. It made my wife and I want to build our own cabin based on this one. The location was serene but very close to some nice attractions in the area. My wife did get frightened by an animal when she went to grab something from the car. She couldn't identify what it was in the dark but do a bit of research on the local wildlife so that you aren't surprised like she was. Definitely would stay again.

Alright, but had some issues
The cabin itself is nice, and in a great spot (in the mountains, but not too far from town). My spouse and I stayed here and we were a little disappointed with some things during our stay. There is a house manager you can call with issues, but there is no cell service there and he has an andriod phone, so you can’t send him texts over wifi. The kitchen is pretty poorly appointed, which isnt great because you are too far from town to easily go there for dinner (so you have to cook). They technically have everything you need to cook a meal, but it’s like the manager went to goodwill and bought the lowest quality items possible. The cabin is managed by a property management group (versus an individual), so we felt like this could’ve been better. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely uncomfortable. It has two body sized depressions in it. They need a new mattress in there. The hot tub was nice, and the cabin itself was cute. The property mgt company just has some work to do.

Perfect Get-away
The place is off the beaten path but well worth it. Serenity surrounds you. We went to SNP to hike Old Rag Mountain and were so thankful for the hot tub at the end of the day. It was perfect. The house is clean, we ate all our meals at the there and it is equipped with all the basic pots and dishes you will need. Fireplace was awesome too. Highly recommend.

A great stay in the Shenandoah valley
The cottage was very neat and had all the amenities that were advertised. We enjoyed the close access to Shenandoah National Park and made several trips there for hiking and sight seeing. At the cottage we enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, and the gas grill. An unanticipated activity was a canoe trip on the Shenandoah river. The Shenandoah River Runners are only a mile down the road, and we really enjoyed a couple of hours canoeing on the river.

Great cabin in nature
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. From the initial welcoming bag that included a few things to help get you started to the borrowing bucket in the bathroom in case you forgot anything. We forgot coffee, and there was actually a little bit of coffee ready for us. That was probably one of the best things! I could stay at this cabin for a week and be very content. It had everything you needed, and the more I looked around the more things I realized were there, ready for our use. We enjoyed the screened in porch. We also enjoyed the outside couch and fire table. Our children enjoyed the playroom upstairs and did play the video games that were provided. The only thing I had hoped for was to be able to see the river. I went back and read the description and the description is correct. It was my mistake for not reading it correctly. We were impressed with how clean the cabin was. The trash drop off was super easy. If we were in the area, we would definitely stay again.

Anniversary trip
My husband and I stayed at Heavens Hideaway and had such a nice relaxing time. Cabin was very clean and had everything you could need! The hot tub was exactly what was needed after hiking the Kennedy peak trail. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us! We loved it.

Beautiful cabin!
We had a wonderful stay. The propery is gorgeous and very relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped. Our daughter 1.5 yr old had fun running around inside and outside the house. Having the back screened in porch was awesome to have to prevent being eaten up by bugs. The only downsides to the property is it down a 14 mi. road that ends in a dead end. So a minium of a 25 minute drive to get anywhere. Also having to take trash to a dumpster a mile down the road or pay someone to do it for you was a little annoying too.

Quick Getaway
This is a well-kept, clean and quite getaway location. It was perfect for a couple's quick escape from the daily grind. It was perfect for the two of us and presented a very welcoming and comfortable living environment. It has a great balance that makes you feel comfortable using the amenities and simply feeling at home. Relaxing and watching a sunrise/sunset from the hot tub is simply icing on the cake. April was perhaps an idea time to visit as the foliage was not fully out it provided a beautiful view of the mountains and river. Close to local attractions.

Relaxing Family Getaway
Heaven’s Hideaway was exactly what we were looking for! My family spent a few days exploring Shenandoah and the surrounding areas. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, it was okay because we were able to spend extra time listening to the rain hit the tin roof on the back screened in porch while the kids were playing in the upstairs loft full of games and comfy chairs. We couldn’t have asked for better communication from the owners. The hot tub at night under a sky full of stars was the exclamation point. All of this was five stars…and this doesn’t even include the proximity to all of the attractions Shenandoah has to offer!

Perfect Retreat
This home is beautiful - a short walk from the river in a quiet and beautiful spot. The house is adorable, and there is so much peace in every space you look! I stayed for a writing retreat and had to drag myself away. The owner and rental manager were extremely responsive. I cannot say enough about all the little details that made my stay just fantastic. Know there is no cell signal and the WiFi power is limited. I needed to cancel a video meeting but honestly…that was kind of awesome. ;)
