Great Little in Town Hideaway

Very cozy and close to shopping etc. in a unique setting. Be aware that there is little to stop sound between two bedrooms, not a big deal but you hear all conversations in other room. Great gathering spaces and well appointed kitchen.

Perfect for 2 people

Stayed for 4 nights. One of us took the upstairs bedroom & bathroom and the other took the downstairs. Common kitchen & small living room to hang out together. Best surprise was the yard. Beautiful & secluded next to a stream. Very peaceful just 2 turns off the main road. Host was very responsive as well. Would stay here again.

Anniversary trip

House was immaculate and stocked with everything that you need. Back deck and fire pit where you can sit outside. Convenient location with a Kroger and several restaurants right up the road. Suggest replacing futon in living room with sleep sofa. Futon not comfortable to sit on. Bed was comfortable. Watch your toes around the middle side support.

Love this place!

This is our second stay here and we will return, if possible! The location is perfect - easy access to literally everything yet still feels like it’s hidden in the country. Thankful it is pet friendly! Great communication from the owner, too. Be aware that the upstairs room and downstairs room and the downstairs bathroom don’t have any sound or light privacy. As long as you know not to expect that, it’s not a problem. :)

We hit a little snag during the check-in process, but our host was incredibly responsive and did everything she could to make it right. I was impressed by their desire to help our trip. Be great. Family vacation

house was super clean and cute. My kids loved the hammock on the porch and we really enjoyed the fire pit at night. It's an hour drive to Natural Bridge (where we hiked for a day) and right there next to downtown where we explored for a day. Great place to stay, love that they let us bring our dog!

Great location to visit Liberty or attend a conference in Lynchburg. Host was a great communicator! Some issues early on were attended too quickly. Would be nice for a couple but not much privacy with the upstairs. Nice neighborhood to walk the dog too!

Awesome Location!

We were there to see the city of Lynchburg to find a future forever home. The location was a perfect spot to venture out around the area. This house was in a quiet community just off a major throughway. We had all the creature comforts of home and the owners had great intuition into the things we needed to feel like we were at home. Our dog really love it too. Highly recommended if you need a place in Lynchburg. Book with confidence.

My daughter and I were in town for a volleyball tournament at Liberty, and the cabin was perfect for us. The cabin was very conveniently located, clean, and had all of the things needed to make the stay enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

Adorable country home right by the city

We LOVED this cozy cabin! We have 2 small dogs and really don't like staying right on top of other neighbors, and were pleasantly surprised to come across this listing, which was exactly what we wanted! We were super close to LU where we needed to be, yet felt like we were out in the country. There was an adorable beaver that visited from the creek that runs along the property, a deer, bunnies, and fireflies. Tropical Smoothie is in walking distance, and any other stores or restaurants needed are only a short driving distance away. The owners have made great use of the space - everything has been thought of with obvious care. It was super clean, which is a must for us. We loved that the cabinets and drawers had picture labels. Everything we needed was easily found. The home was updated, yet cozy. The loft space upstairs provided the perfect space for our young adult daughter, with its own sitting area and small bathroom and shower. Just know that the floor boards in the upstairs room are separated slightly, so any noise from above can be heard below (and visa versa). When our daughter fell asleep with the light on, I had to wake her because the light came down to our room. It was fine for us, but good to be aware of if you want to tell secrets haha. Elisabeth was wonderful at answering my many questions and allowing some exceptions for our arrival and departure times. Super helpful! We will definitely come back and highly recommend this lovely, welcoming home!

Cozy stay in Lynchburg!

This property was exactly what we were looking for and the price was very reasonable. We were in town for Liberty University graduation and as you can imagine most hotels were booked early and cost exceptionally high. I found this property and thought this is perfect! It was only one mile or so from downtown and 5 mins from the college campus. The pictures do not do it justice! It is such a cute, cozy, adorable place! It felt like we were in the country yet we were right down the street from all the shopping and restaurants you could need or want. The property manager was great and check in and out was easy. All the amenities were great. We ate out most of the time but it had a full kitchen with everything you would need. There were plenty of towels and the sheets and bedding were super clean. If you are looking for a quaint place to stay in Lynchburg this is it! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we make it back to Lynchburg we will stay here again!

Great Find!

We stayed five nights while visiting family in the Lynchburg vicinity. It was a very positive experience! Great layout, great location. Mattresses slept wonderful! Enjoy the fire one night. Lovely setting by dream creek. Definitely would stay again!
