Glad we stopped here

First stay at Avid. Very clean, comfortable bed, very friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was presented nicely with good choices. Loved having coffee,tea,hot chocolate available at any time. Would recommend and would definitely stay there again.

I felt like the prior reviews I read before booking this hotel were all lies after arriving and looking over this hotel. It was unfinished. There were mud puddles where landscaping was supposed to be. Room doors were missing the card key access covers. Caulking was used to cover up areas where there was poor workmanship. It was dirty. Floors had not been swept, nor mopped as the surfaces demanded. There were handprint stains on the walls. The chair in my room was stained and worn. I complained about the conditions to the receptionist by responding to her text message inquiry and nothing happened. The reception was "cold" and extremely slow. The breakfast was very simple, but by this time my low expectations were right on track. This location suffers from highway noise that continues all night. Never again will I stay in an Avid establishment.

Great Hotel

Just as I had expected. I appreciate the minimalistic, contemporary and simple designs of my room and lobby. The colors are bright and inviting. It reminds me of European hotels. The staff was super nice and friendly. I will stay at Avid again when in the area.

Expedia did not provide my credit card to the hotel. The hotel notified me that they needed one to hold my reservation. After calling and consulting Expedia app, I saw that I’d pay on site. Other than this concern, all was fine.
