Gorgeous home

This was such a special trip. The house is vacation ready. The open floor plan is beautiful. Our family has a new favorite rental!! The house checks all the boxes for us, well stocked, clean, family friendly....I could go on. My 10 and 8 year old especially loved the game shelf and were quickly up at the spacious dining table putting puzzles together. The outside of the home is cottage cozy and very private. Gorgeous location and not far from the beach. Loved it!

Beautiful, perfect for our needs!

Host was amazing and very communicative. Property was super clean, cozy beds, everything we needed was there for us. We felt so relaxed and happy in this space! It was rainy (of course, it's Oregon, we live here too) so we didn't walk to the beach impart because it was a bit farther than we wanted to walk in the rain or on a cloudy day. If it was sunny we would have been happy to venture out for a walk and really take in the ocean and the main street of Manzanita. It was a cozy couple of days in a beautiful, comfortable and clean home with a good friend! Thanks so much for hosting us!

Another wonderful stay!

This is our second time at this property, and it's still amongst if not our favorite places to stay in Manzanita. We purposefully booked at this time of year because the owners do an amazing job of decorating for the holidays, with a festive tree, garlanded branches on the mantel, and decorations on the dining room table and throughout the kitchen. In combination with the large gas fireplace, it's incredibly cozy. All of our observations from our previous trip are still relevant: well-appointed touches throughout, a comfortable bed in the master bedroom, a complete kitchen with everything you may need, etc. In my previous review, I noted that the upstairs bedroom lacked a shower or tub. Well, that's been addressed, and now there's a shower along with the toilet and vanity, which is definitely a plus. While it would appear well off the beach, it's actually just a short walk of a few blocks along Sandpiper; my wife and I made the trip several times with our senior dog and had no issues. We've been coming to Manzanita for a decade, and this is our favorite place to stay, especially during the holidays. Cheers!

Fantastic and cozy home to snuggle up in on a rainy coastal weekend. Really great vibe of a place to stay in and loved the fireplace. Loved the toadstools in the backyard. Really appreciate Kim the opportunity to bring our fur baby as well.

Great Property

This was our 2nd stay at Manzanita Bliss. 2023 for 4 weeks and 2024 for 6 weeks. The Oregon coast is a great place. This property is just perfect for us and our 2 pups. Short walk to beach. The house has all of the necessary items 1 would need. Kim is a fabulous hostess.

Great Summer Trip!

Great spot!

We loved staying at Manzanita Bliss! The host was responsive and check-in was uneventful. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood, about a 20 minute walk to town but just 2 short blocks to the beach. The house is really cute, the kitchen was fully equipped and great even with multiple cooks, the fireplace roars, and the master bedroom is dreamy! The bathroom options are good, too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Exceptionally Nice Property

On of the nicest VRBO properties we've stayed in. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, pleasant outdoor spaces. Pet friendly is a real plus. It's an easy short walk to the beach along two lightly trafficked dead end streets. Communication with the host was easy and timely. Parking is a bit tight but adequate. It easily accommodated two mid size SUV's.

Amazing Manzanita mid-mod getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at Kim's property. We immediately felt at home and enjoyed hanging out inside and out in the beautifully manicured yard. What a gem!

We loved staying at Manzanita Bliss! The house was very well cleaned and just lovely - lots of space, beautiful, large, and well-stocked kitchen, and many extra touches throughout the house to make you feel at home. The owner was incredibly responsive too. I inquired about fans in the house since the weather was unusually hot, and she responded very quickly and procured us fans so we were able to sleep comfortably. This place is amazing and I’m already booking for next year!

Beautiful Home, Great Location

This was a beautiful home in a great location. It had everything you might need and SO MUCH SPACE to enjoy it in. It's a 20 minute walk to the main drag in Manzanita and minutes to the beach. Hope to be back soon.

Our favorite rental ever!!

We’ve rented homes for two decades and this is the best we’ve stayed in. This home was very very well equipped. They thought of everything. It was very clean and there was plenty of space for our family of 5 to spread out, sleep, eat and relax. Master bed upstairs was very comfortable. Loved the decor throughout the house, we felt immediately at home. My kids loved exploring all the nooks and crannies of the home. Easy access to the beach. We wished we could stayed longer. Would stay here again!!

Charming home and responsive owner

The home is as charming if not more so than the pictures. This was one of the best stocked kitchens I've been in regarding dishware/utensils/bowls, etc., which made cooking delightful. The backyard is fenced in so it made life easy with our dog. As written in the notes, beware that there is a lot of light in the master bedroom upstairs; if you're sensitive, bring personal night shades. ): We arrived after 5 on Friday and Kim immediately responded to a text to resolve a minor issue. This was our favorite home in Manzanita in 3 visits; we'd definitely return.

The perfect place in Manzanita

We had a great experience at Kim's home in Manzanita. My wife commented that it was exceptionally welcoming and had everything one would need. The space itself is incredible and is perfect for sitting by the fire, watching a movie, reading, or playing games at the table. It has everything you need in the kitchen to construct amazing meals and on that note, the kitchen is really great and set up most conveniently. Everything from the towels to the sheets were clean and we felt pampered being in the house. The outdoor spaces are awesome and offers a ton of different places to hang out, read, etc. The master suite is super cool too with its own private deck. The beach is close by and it took us about 20 minutes to walk to town via the surf. We highly recommend Kim's property and will be hopefully staying again in the not too distant future.

Birthday getaway

This property was one of my favorite vacation rentals ever. It has a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, and little nooks to spread out in. It's just a quick 5 minute walk from the beach and in a sleepy part of town. We loved it! It was also perfect for our little dog. The owners have recently fenced in the backyard, so you don't have to worry about your furry friends. We will definitely return!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay in Manzanita!

My wife and I, along with our dogs, have been coming to Manzanita for almost a decade; this has been our favorite rental we've experienced. While somewhat unassuming from the road, the interior is spacious and inviting. The main living area is an open floor plan, well-appointed with comfortable seating. There's a large converted gas fireplace that really adds to the coziness. The updated kitchen has a complete selection of plates, glassware, and utensils, along with small appliances. There are several skylights throughout that allow in plenty of natural light. The upstairs master has plenty of light with high ceilings and windows. The quality of the bed and mattress is always a point of concern for us. We tend to prefer a slightly firm mattress... sometimes other rentals will be overly soft, verging on "hammock-like" as you sink into them, but these were very comfortable. It should be noted that there's no shower or tub upstairs next to the master, only a vanity and toilet, but it wasn't an issue to use one of the two showers downstairs. It's immediately obvious that the owners take a lot of pride in the furnishings: chairs, end tables, lamps, etc. were all well-chosen. Our dogs enjoyed the eating and drinking bowls as well, and the backyard is fully fenced. Finally, we loved the holiday decorations the owners put up: a tree with lights and ornaments, a Christmas scene on the mantel and dining table. So beautiful! We will absolutely make it a point to return!
