Not bad for the price but….. watch out for this.
The room was recently updated. The linens and towels were very clean. The beds left much to be desired though. Every time you moved the bed sounded like it was falling apart. The bathroom……oh boy! Don’t set anything on the floor when you shower. The design of the shower was flat like a shower in a locker room of high school. The water ran all over because it couldn’t go down the drain fast enough and there was not a threshold to contain the water. Lastly, the outside entry door was not a real hotel door. It was a door like at a gas station. It was clear glass. It did have a curtain to cover but it was a little scary staying there for safety. But despite these issues it wasn’t a bad hotel for the price and closeness to the activities we had the following day.

Scary to turn the lights in the middle of the night. Huge bugs were crawling along the bed, on my baggage on the chair, corners, shelves in the closet in the room and bathroom. I had to keep lights on since 3 am and was scared to fall asleep. I took pictures of all of it. They moved me to another room next day. Apparently exterminator was there recently.

Price was very readonable. Pool was a nice addition. Room was very dated. Basically some fresh paint. Mold in the shower stall along grout line. "Closet" rod was in the bathroom. No true closet. Not dresser or area to put clothes. Thankfully we were only here one night and lives out of our suitcase. Bed was comfortable but pillows could use an upgrade. I would not be staying here again.

The room was spacious and clean. The pool and back deck were great. The only reason for the 4 star overall rating, wasn't necessarily their fault. It was because the dang roosters start crowing at 4 am, at least the 2 nights we stayed. Other than that they were great.

This is an older property that does a good job. It was clean, but appeared well-worn (chips in tile floor, etc.). They are in a good location and appear to cater to fisherman. It's a laid-back feeling but the waterfront is a marina, not a beach. We arrived late so didn't have a chance to look around much but there were at least two families on the waterfront having a cookout. Neat little coffee hut at the marina. We had breakfast at the Wooden Spoon across the highway and it was OUTSTANDING!

Great weekend
We had a great stay while there in the Keys. Room was clean, front desk attendant was very nice in helping us get extra pillows for my husband. The only thing that could be bothersome to some would be the roosters that crow starting about 4 am. We are used to it because we have chickens, but some people may not be aware that there are chickens roaming the premises. They don't mess with you by any means, they just like to start at 4am letting you know its time to get up. LOL!
